Repurchased Products

I really like to see the products that people have repurchased and hear their thoughts, why they repurchased them etc. Which is why I do these kinds of posts. So

1. Simple Micellar Water: I'm not a massive user if Micellar Water on an everyday basis but I have tried this particular one before and always knew it was great but after repurchasing I've remembered how great it is. Plus it's in a bigger bottle than the original one which is also great. Micellar water has many different uses, makeup removal, cleansing the skin in the morning before applying makeup or before commencing with your evening skincare routine to gently cleanse the skin.

2. Simple Hydrating Light Moisturiser: This is a great affordable basic moisturiser, no fuss, no frills just a gentle effective moisturiser. I love this for my morning moisturiser because it's light, hydrating and feels great before applying makeup. I got the one without any SPF but you can get one with SPF15.

3. Simple Hydrating Cleansing Oil: Carrying on with the Simple Skincare repurchases, this Cleansing oil is one I use everyday to remove my makeup. It's again a no fuss, no nasties affordable product that does what it says. With some cleansing oils they can leave a residue or feel greasy on the skin rather than silky and nourishing, but with this, it's everything I look for in a makeup remover/cleansing oil. It feels so silky smooth on the skin and melts away makeup effortlessly. There's no residue but I do go in with a Cleansing Gel/Balm after anyway as my actual cleanser.

4. Nip + Fab Glycolic Fix Daily Cleansing Pads: I've lost count how many tubs of these I've purchased. This range as a whole is amazing, but these pads are products I use on a daily basis as my next step after Cleansing and before serum. I use it as a toner/chemical exfoliator in my evening skincare routine because they're gentle enough to use everyday and I feel they really help with the texture of my skin, reducing blemishes and ensuring there's no makeup or cleanser on my skin before I go in with my serums. In case you can't gather, I love these things.

5. Soap & Glory Puffy Eye Attack: When I notice my makeup not sitting right on my skin, I look at my skincare, because although it's easier to blame the product itself, the products you use before applying them are often the culprits. My eye cream just wasn't cutting it, whether that's because my skin has got used to it and needs something more, or whatever the case may be, I picked this one up which I've tried before and loved so I picked it back up. I think I may repurchase the Kiehls Avocado Creamy Eye Treatment (or something along those lines) and use that in the evening for some extra hydration.

6. Carmex Lip Balm: As you can tell, I love this little guy. These were just in the closest proximity when I was taking this photo but I love how smoothing and softening this is and I get very chapped, uncomfortably dry lips but this treats it perfectly. Definitely a must have in my coat pockets, desk, bedside table, makeup bag, skincare bag, anywhere that's handy and close by.

7. Barry M Sunset Daylight Curing Nail Polish in Dark Side Of The Shroom: If you're a regular reader around these parts you'll have seen these Daylight Curing Bail Polishes, but this little guy is one of my favourite colours. I love the neutral tone of it, the longevity of wear and how they apply.

8. Japonesque Eyelash Curlers: I am so sad about these, it's my favourite eyelash curler but they break after like 6 months and it's so sad. They're only a tenner and I have others I can use but I prefer this one as it's comfortable to use and I don't feel like I'm putting a torture device near my eyes everyday. I will repurchase, I just wish they lasted longer.

9. Rimmel Exaggarrate Lip Liner in East End Snob: I picked up two of these, one for my handbag and one for my makeup bag. I really like that since purchasing it the first time, they've changed the shape of the tip to a regular point where as before it was an angled type shape and I just didn't get on with it as it always crumbled and broke. But I love the shade of this, it's beautiful on it's own or under a lipstick or gloss and it's just a great everyday shade that's comfortable and goes with any look.

10. NYX Micro Brow Pencil in Brunette: I've used this brow pencil for quite a while now and it's replaced the Soap & Glory Archery Pencil that I used religiously for a about 18 months but I've since found a combination of products and a certain look that I just really like my brows to have, and this is the star product. It's a fine pencil so it's easy to get a precise hair like stroke, but it's a great shade match for me whether I have red hair or dark hair. I love how it looks and how it wears through the day, it doesn't wear off like the S&G one so I feel it's definitely worth repurchasing.

11. Maybelline Anti-Age Rewind Brightening Concealer: I have quite dark under eye circles and I feel that although I've not found the perfect combination of products yet (I will be picking some stuff up soon to help with this I hope) I do really like this Age Rewind concealer in the brightening shade to just lighten things up and it's super light weight so I can layer it underneath another concealer which I will come to next. I don't however like that I have to buy this online from Amazon or somewhere which makes it pretty expensive considering it's a drugstore brand but I have never been able to find this particular shade at a drugstore in the UK.

12. Urban Decay Naked Skin Concealer: Finally is the concealer I like to layer under the Age Rewind. This UD concealer is lightweight but pretty full coverage. I have the lightest shade and it is a great shade for me, it's not lighter than my skin tone but it's the best fair concealer I've found so far. I love the flat paddle shaped applicator which makes it easy to apply around the eyes, but I also like to use a concealer brush and spot concealer on any blemishes. Great concealer. Definitely worth the hype - Oohh that reminds me, want to see this as a blog post?

That's it for this repurchased products, I hope you like seeing the products I repurchase as I feel it's a good indicator that I like the product enough to replenish it and I get to give you mini reviews and why I like them. I hope you all have a great Sunday. I have my operation on Tuesday and so I am pre-scheduling posts whilst I recover so I hope you like them.
