It feels like it's been eons since I have done a haul post but I have picked up some amazing things (mostly encouraged by watching YouTube) and so I thought I would show you what I have purchased over the last couple months or so, share my initial thoughts and complain about spending so much money that I can't afford to spend. It's going to be a long post today so grab a snack and a drink and let's get started

I'm not one for spending a lot of money on my hair products as things like texturizing sprays and dry shampoos just don't last long. But I 100% brought this because of YouTube and Beauty Bloggers because of all the hype built up around it. So what are my thoughts on the Oribe Dry Texturizing Spray? It smells nice. It's expensive. I only purchased the travel size which was still £20 instead of the £40 price tag for the full size. But I have to say it didn't blow me away. I will obviously keep trying it because I brought it and it's expensive, but every time I spray it I think ooh that was like £1 worth of spray, or if I miss my hair I feel guilty and try and chase it and get it on my hair before it lands and is wasted. I know it sounds silly but it's just expensive and it doesn't blow my socks off like I was expecting.

I am one who although won't spend a lot of money on my hair, when it comes to skincare it's a completely different story. I am embarrassed about how much these products cost but I am just glad I was able to find a discount code which if it still works I will link it here

So first is the Omorovicza Deep Cleansing Mask which is another YouTube made me buy it type product (I think I will have to do a post on these kind of purchases). But this has had a lot of hype and I finally was persuaded to buy if by Ingrid Nilsen when I saw her Favourite Masks video. She's mentioned it quite a few times actually and I love a good face mask so why not. It's expensive yes, but it's amazing and even after the first use I noticed the difference in my skin.
I've never tried anything from this brand before so I will do a post on my overall review of this mask and the next product but I have to say it made my skin look and feel amazing even after the first use. I had been breaking out a tonne on my chin thanks to hormones, and nothing seemed to help. But I used this for the first time, left it on for 20 minutes and when I took it off my skin felt amazing, the redness and irritation of the spots were visibly reduced. But the real magic was the next morning because no word of a lie they were practically gone. It really did deep clean my skin and get all the gross stuff out and left my complexion look brighter and more glowy after the first use.

The next product is also from Omorovicza and it's the Thermal Cleansing Balm. This was an Estee Lalonde persuaded purchase because she was saying how much she loved it, how it felt amazing on her skin and how her skin looks incredible after using it. So I purchased it along with the mask, and although I love it, I wouldn't use it everyday or to take my makeup off as it's so expensive. It leaves my skin feeling so hydrated and soft, it removes any excess makeup, dirt or grime and it just feels so luxurious to massage into the skin. With these Omorovicza products, they're formulated with Moor Mud so it doesn't strip the skin by lifting out the impurities, but it cleanses really well and leaves skin feeling incredibly comfortable and soft.

Finally for the luxury skin care section of this haul is the Eve Lom Rescue Mask another Ingrid Nilsen recommendation, but I had to try it considering how much she was raving about it and how it cleared up her breakouts overnight. Another magic mask that you leave on for 15-20 minutes so it dries, and then you remove with a face cloth and your skin feels amazing and soft. It literally reduced the blemishes I had on my face dramatically overnight. The Omorovicza Mask reduced them on the first night, and this guy banished them by the second. What a dream team, these masks will definitely have a place in my mask collection. This one wasn't as expensive as the others and it's the first Eve Lom product I've tried but I did get a sample of the Treatment so I will definitely be trying that out too because if all her products are as fast acting as that then I want them all.

Now for the luxe makeup and I have few products that I have wanted to try out for so long thanks to the YouTube and Blogging world (again, I would say I'd stop watching it but I need my fix of Ingrid Nilsen, Coffee Break With DaniSamantha Reilly, Allana Davison and so many other amazing women I watch on a weekly basis).

First is the IT Cosmetics QVCUK Complexion Perfection Kit, and when I saw this I got so incredibly excited I didn't even think about it I just ordered it straight away. I've heard so much about the IT Cosmetics Your Skin But Better CC Cream from so many people because of it's full coverage but light weight feel on the skin, it has factor 50 and it just looks amazing all year round and on so many different skin tones.
I was slightly confused by the colour of this as it's very grey in tone which I assume is because of the physical sunscreen so I have to do a bit of a science experiment when I want to wear this which isn't a major issue because it's a standard thing for me to get my perfect shade of foundation. I thought it would be instantly medium coverage and then build to full with another layer but it actually doesn't look like much of anything in the first layer, with a second and third layer that's when I get the coverage I like which is medium but natural, so you can still see some of my freckles and blemishes. So I was slightly confused and a tad disappointed by this product but I am going to continue playing around with it, trying it with different things and seeing how I prefer to use it.

What I love about this kit is that I can try other IT Cosmetics products as well as the CC Cream and I have been so impressed by them that I still wanted to include them in here. But if you want a review of this kit with more info then let me know.

The product I don't like in this kit at all is the Bye Bye UnderEye Concealer I have the shade light which is only a tad too dark for my skin, but that's not why I didn't get on with it. It's just way too thick and cakey that I tried to apply it under my eyes and it was sticky and even though I on;y applied a tiny amount, it looked like the whole tube was under my eye. It's just not for me, but I will try and find it a home where it will be used.

I'm not really a powder person, but I absolutely love the Bye Bye Pores Powder, it's translucent so it doesn't add any extra coverage and I don't have any problems about it being too dark for my fair ass skin. It does exactly what it says and what I wanted it to do. It smooths away the look of my pores and imperfections. It's like magic. I have to be careful not to apply too much otherwise I look way too powdery, but with a light dusting of this around my nose, chin and forehead, my skin looks like porcelain it's so amazing I am loving it. I don't know whether they have a loose version as I really like loose powders for setting my face but for now this is amazing and I am totally hooked on it.

The last product in this QVCUK kit is the Heavenly Luxe Complexion Perfection No7 Dual-Ended Brush, this is so super soft and incredible quality. I haven't had any issues with shedding or brush marks when doing my makeup. I use the small end for putting on my corrector and concealer around my eyes and then the bigger side for bouncing on my skin to ensure everything is blended out seamlessly, to also pop a bit of powder around my nose and chin. I love this brush and I really want to get more IT Cosmetics Brushes.

Last but not least for my luxury makeup haul are a couple primers and a palette.
The Makeup Forever Smoothing Primer has been a beauty world favourite since MUFE launched their Step 1 primers last year or the year before? I didn't know they did little travel sizes but when I saw this on the Debenhams website I snatched it up quick and have loved it ever since. It really does smooth over my pores and imperfections and it keeps my makeup on and looking amazing all day. Literally all day. My makeup normally breaks up and abandons my face but this little guy keeps it all in place and looking like I just applied it.
Another primer was actually a free sample with my purchase from Space NK which was with my luxury skincare. The Hourglass Ambient Light Correcting Primer in Mood Light has like a purple tinge too it which brightens and corrects any dull areas on my face. My skin looks incredible even with just this on, but when I apply my makeup over the top, my skin has never looked so good. It's Hourglass so it's going to be pricey but if I find more of these little sample sizes then Ima get 'em all.

We're nearly there for the luxury portion of this haul. The Tarte Empower Flower Amazonian Clay Collector's Palette is one I've never seen before but on one of my late night, can't sleep internet browsing sesh' I found this little guy, and I only really purchased it for the two blushes in Trustworthy which is like a nude blush, and Empowering which is a stunning mauve kind of blush. The packaging is pretty and I love the Amazonian Clay Blushes so I am really pleased to have this in my collection, I hope I can depot them though because the rest of the palette I'm not too bothered about.

Now for those of you on a lower budget, here is the drugstore haul. But I have to be honest with you, I've kind of cheated with these first two products because they're not the the drugstore and they're quite pricey for the brand but I couldn't include it in the luxury part because they're not technically luxury products either. So anyway let's get into it because this post is already a million years long (I like to exaggerate a tad).

The Body Shop have released two Liquid Peels into their mid range skincare lines which got me very excited because I already love the other products. So the Drops of Light Pure Resurfacing Liquid Peel and the Drops of Youth Youth Liquid Peel are very unique, both to the brand and to me. I've never tried a liquid peel like this before, chemical exfoliators use, but nothing like this which you wash off, but do I want to do a review on these also so I won't go too much in to details.

My skin is quite sensitive so I have to be very careful, but these didn't irritate or burn my skin or have any adverse effects whatsoever. It's very liquid-y, I use two pumps and it does my entire face. Basically you massage it into your skin, and you will feel your skin start to ball up and rub off, once you have massaged your face for about 20 seconds, you simply rinse off. My skin feels soft and smooth and comfortable after using these.

The Drops of Light Peel is a quick-fix, brightening essential which claims to visibly brighten after first use which I have to agree with. The gel-to-peel technology gently peels off impurities and dead skin cells to reveal healthy-looking, luminous skin. Containing Red Algae Extract, Vitamin C, Minerals and Nutrients.
The Drops of Youth Peel leaves your skin clean and purified from the day's pollutants, whilst also giving you a fresher, smoother and more luminous youthful-looking skin. From first impressions I love these, but a full review as I said will be coming up once I have tested them out thoroughly.

Simple skincare is a brand that I have used a lot since first learning about how to look after my skin. It's a brand that is very basic yet effective and I often like to go back to basics so I can learn about my skin and just generally treat it gently. I used their Hydrating Cleansing Oil everyday to remove my makeup and it does wonders for my skin even just being on my face for less than a minute so I wanted to re-try a few things. So here is a little Simple Kind To Skin haul.
First I purchased the Hydrating Light Moisturiser to use as my morning moisturiser before my SPF, as I like to keep my moisturisers basic and then add extra things to my routine like serums or oils to give them a boost. My makeup looks great on top of this one. The Replenishing Rich Moisturiser is also a great basic night time moisturiser for me. A lot of people prefer to invest in their moisturisers and save on their cleansers but my skin just prefers a good and effective cleanser and mask to a luxury moisturiser.
The Simple Micellar Water is a staple for any beauty blogger or fanatic. It's great to remove swatches, remove makeup before going in with your cleanser, it's just great for so many different things. They now do it in this big jug which I am very happy about. I also purchased the Micellar Wipes too, not too remove my makeup but to wipe of swatches or excess makeup from the back of my hand. They're just handy to have around for cleaning or removing stuff.

We're on the home stretch of today's haul. The drugstore makeup bits I purchased recently. These were totally on the off chance and not because I needed them - let's face it I have enough to last me a life time at this point - but I wanted to try them out and share my opinions with you like a beauty blogger does.

I don't get on with many drugstore foundations because their shades just aren't good for me, Bourjois are particularly bad for this, but I saw they repackaged the Healthy Mix Foundation and so I thought I would pick it up. I remember trying the Serum version and just didn't get on with it but when I tried the Health Mix Foundation last week, I am totally in love with it. The shade range still sucks so I have to get my little science experiment gear out (I brought a little mixing palette so I don't have to use the back of my hand and it's a bit more sanitary) but I really love the look it gives my skin, it lasts all day and I just love the coverage and everything about it. Plus it doesn't break down on my skin half way through the day which is a major plus for me.

I finally picked up the Maybelline SuperStay Makeup Extending Primer and I've not really seen much on this from anyone so I don't know if it's new or no one likes it so they're not talked about it. I haven't used this yet, but I have tried it on the back of my hand and it doesn't have any slip to it, it just feels like a moisturiser, a very light and thin moisturiser so who knows how this will work but I will update this section once I have tried it.

If you stuck around to the end then I applaud you. This was a very long post so thank you for continuing to read my ramblings. I could create a drinking game from home many times I said "love it" or "it's amazing", although I would probably lose at that game anyway. But any who I hope you enjoyed today's haul and if you have any recommendations of products I should try out or if you've used something I've mentioned today and want to add your two cents then please leave it in the comments below. I'll be back on Wednesday for my monthly Look Fantastic Box. So until then, take care.
