The Weekly Round Up #149

10:02

What a miserable Sunday morning it is today, It's really been a true Autumn week and with the miserable and cold weather coming in, I've been getting all nice and cosy in those dark evenings with a nice candle and a good TV show. But anyway, here's this weeks favourite beauty stuff.

MAKEUP: Starting up with my base of choice this week which is the Clinique Beyond Perfecting Foundation I have the shade 0.5 Breeze which is still too dark for me so I rely on the NARS Sheer Glow or The Body Shop Lightening Drops to get my custom shade. This week I have been using the Real Techniques Miracle Complexion Sponge instead of a Beauty Blender and it has been working wonders. This base is full coverage, flawless finish and lasts all day.
To add some glow where needed, I head to the Hourglass Ambient Lighting Edit in Surreal Light, this is all over the blogging world right now and I wouldn't be surprised if they have sold out already but this is beautiful. I love to use the bronzer to add some warmth to my skin and a nice golden glo, then the lighter shade blush for a healthy flush to the cheeks and finally I finish off with the strobe powder on the cheekbones. This is a stunning palette. Expensive, but stunning.
Now for the eyes and the Zoeva Naturally Yours Palette has been my go to palette this week, I still use the Tanya Burr Palettes for other shades but this guy is perfect for the look I have been going for. I like to use all matte shades at the moment and then something just to define the crease and outer corners and lower lash line, and then a nice winged liner and lashings of mascara. Which has been the Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara since receiving it in last months Glossybox

For the last few weeks I have really grown to love lip glosses, but this week I haven't gone a day without wearing at least two. The Fleur De Force Lip Glosses are my newest ones and I love to wear them together. I first apply the berry shade Starry Starry Night on my lips, and then blot with a tissue to remove some of the pigment, then I go over it with the nude shade Written in the Stars and it gives a really pretty muted berry shade. Because these are so pigmented and shiny they look absolutely stunning on the lips and they last a decent amount of time too which was a surprise as they are only lip glosses.
The NYX Butter Lip Glosses were ones I tried a couple months ago and I still have them in my handbag for if I need to pop on a little lip gloss. I love the shade Angel Food Cake as it's very similar to my own lips so it just evens them up and adds some shine, the other shades Eclair and Creme Brulee are lighter but they still look great on their own or over a lipstick.

SKINCARE: I've tried a lot of skincare, but this Nip + Fab Glycolic Fix range has done the most for my skin. So this week I rediscovered the Nip + Fab Glycolic Fix Scrub and also the Face Mask and they have cleared up any blemishes, tightened up pores and generally just made my skin look and feel better.

NAILS: I always come back to the Barry M Sunset Daylight Curing Fuchsia Generation Nail Polish. It's my favourite formula, the shade is great and goes with everything and it lasts pretty long on my nails. I've already gone through two bottles of this shade and the top coat to go with it so it's safe to say it's a favourite.

I also found a TV show called Freakish which I started watching, and who other than Meghan Rienks showed up in it. It only has 10 episodes I believe for the first season but I really hope it gets renewed for another seasons as it was pretty good and Meghan was awesome in it. You should definitely watch it out and go support her.

HAPPY WEEKEND EVERYONE!
