The Weekly Round Up #140

This week has flown by to be honest and I have been loving a lot of things this week and I am really excited to show you them a bit better today and over the next week or so. Here's what I've been loving...

Starting off with makeup and this week I have been reaching for a particular combo which just ticks all the base boxes for me. The Becca Backlight Priming Filter, Revlon ColourStay and NARS Sheer Glow provide glow, coverage, longevity, flawless base. Simply mix a pump of each on your hand and apply using a Beauty Blender which is my favourite way to apply it and it just looks great. Especially if you want it to last all day and still look as good in the evening as it did when you first applied it. This lot certainly does that.

This week I purchased a magnetic palette as using one or two things from 5 different palettes just wasn't doing it for me so I put my Anastasia products in here which I have been using on the daily.
First is the Anastasia Cream and Powder Contours in Fawn, then there is the Highlight Powders Vanilla, Banana, Sand from the Contour Kit, along with the Highlighters in Moonstone (Sun Dipped) Sunburst (That Glow) from the Glow Kits. I love that everything is together and I don't have a stack of palettes everywhere when I am applying my makeup. It also means I can just take this one and I am good to go when it comes to travelling which is also a bonus.
I received the Tarte Exposed Highlighter this week and I haven't been able to put it down, I got it mid week but I have been using it for eyeshadow and as a face highlighter and I love it. It's the perfect shade and I highly recommend picking it up because the glow it gives, oh wow it's stunning.
Finally for cheeks is the Kevyn Aucoin Sculpting Powder in Medium and I couldn't not mention this because this has changed my contour game forever. The Cream and Powder pans that are in the palette have been awesome, but I use a bit of this contour powder right in the hollows and it deepens the contour but still allows it to look natural and realistic and not like I just have a line of makeup that looks dirty on my face. I love this and I highly recommend it if you're looking for an item to splurge on and you really want to up your contour game.

This eyeshadow palette has been my obsession this week. I love how these apply and last on the eyes. This is the Anastasia Self Made Palette and my favourite shades are: Hot Chocolate, Metallic Plum, Treasure, Sherbert. Another great palette from Anastasia.

I've been wanting to pick this up since it was released but never got around to it, but I finally have my hands on it and it is just as good if not better than her first. This is the Fleur De Force The Luxe Life and it really does have that luxe feel to it when you're reading it. The cover, the photos throughout. Fleur really out did herself on this one and I cannot seem to put it down.
