The Weekly Round Up #136

It's the end of another week and so that means it's weekly favourites time. Here's what I've been loving...

Here's a few of my favourite brushes this week. For face the Zoeva 110 Face Shape Brush has been great for contouring, specifically with the Zoeva Rose Golden Palette, the contour powder in this is just perfect and I am obsessed, I hope they sell this separately.
I've also been loving the Zoeva 102 Silk Finish for foundation, 112 Concealer Buffer for concealer around the eyes, 105 Luxe Highlight is great for applying highlight on the cheekbones, I've been really into the Charlotte Tilbury Filmstar Bronze & Glow Highlighter.
As for the eye brushes, the Zoeva 227 Luxe Soft Definer is like a MAC 217 it's perfect for blending colour through the crease, the 228 Luxe Crease is what I use for blending and fading out the edges, and the 231 Luxe Petite Crease I ise for packing more colour into the outer corner and really getting in and defining the crease.
From Spectrum Collection I love the A08 Medium Blender because it's nice and fluffy, the A12 Fluffy Pencil for smoking out the lower lashes and the B06 Tall Tapered for blending through the crease.

As for makeup other than the products I've already mentioned, I've been particularly keen of the Revlon ColorStay Foundation for my base with a teeny bit of the Zoeva Backlight Priming Filter, and then the Estée Lauder BB Brush on Glow Concealer has been really great to brighten up my under eyes and my dark circles because for some reason they just ain't budging no matter what I do.

I've been trying some new hair products since cutting my hair to a long-ish bob, and the first was in this months Birchbox, the John Freida Luxurious Volume In-Shower Treatment which is, well exactly what it says, on first use my hair was looking voluminous and bouncy for days after. I had to apply way more than what it recommends but it seemed to have worked so I will keep trying it. I really like this range in general and for shorter hair, it's much better.
For my dry shampoo, I've been trying out the Fudge Urban Crisp Pear & Sweet Vanilla Dry Shampoo and I have to say it smells amazing and it works pretty well too. It gives my hair some much needed texture too which is what I love with short hair.

I could rave about the Oskia Renaissance Mask until I'm blue in the face. I really do love this and think it's one of the best masks I've ever used. I love how it makes my skin feel, it glows and it's soft and smooth and just incredible. It's pricey but worth it in my opinion. Plus, I've scared my Dad a few times coming out the bathroom with this on which is always a bonus.

This week I found a new anime show which I've been loving. It's called Bleach and it's about soul reapers and a soul society. The characters are great, the story lines keep your gripped through every minute of the episode and I love the banter and the arguments on it too. Plus there's a talking stuffed teddy bear, who could resist one of those.
I've also been watching Law & Order: Special Victims Unit which I think I have mentioned a couple of times. It's very dark and disturbing at some points but it's a great show and once you get passed the overall shock and vulgar-ness of it then it's a good show.
