The Weekly Round Up #134

This week seems to have dragged on forever but it's finally the weekend and time for my weekly faves. I've been trying quite a few new products so thought I would share my thoughts and first impressions with you so here they are...

Starting off with the makeup items I've been loving this week, with a few shades from the Zoeva Nude Spectrum Palette along with the darkest brown/black shadow from the Zoeva Cocoa Blend Palette - I don't know what it is about this shade but it's great to smoke out and deepen the look - and this has been my go to look this month. Shimmery champagne/gold on the lid, a shimmery taupe on the outer corner and a medium brown through the crease. Finished with the dark brown on the outer corner and lash line and it's a quick and simple everyday look. Add some winged liner and lashings of mascara and that's been my look this last week or so.

I saw this collection on Beauty Bay and just had to get them. I have tried one Spectrum Collection brush before and I knew the quality was good so thought I would check out the eye brushes next.
So I've been trying out:
A16 Precise Crease
B06 Tall Tapered
B04 Small Angled
A08 Medium Fluffy
A07 Stubby Shade
A12 Fluffy Pencil
A13 Short Smudge
C06 Tulip Eye Contour
I have been loving these and they're an incredible quality and considering that individually these brushes are between £4 to £5, for all 8 brushes I got it for £30. I highly recommend these and if you have some other brushes that you recommend, then please let me know.

I have been wanting to try this for a while now but have only just got around to giving it a try. The Oskia Renaissance Mask is a resurfacing and brightening mask which has frankly done incredible things for my skin. My skin felt comfortable, hydrated, plump and looked glowing. A review will be coming up on this soon so for more information keep your eyes peeled.
I have been a massive fan of the Soap & Glory Feel Good Factor Moisturiser for a long time, but this week, along the performance of the mask, this moisturiser has made my skin so smooth and has made my makeup go on so smoothly over the top. No matter what the state of my skin is, this moisturiser never fails to smooth and hydrate my skin. This is a long term fave but it deserved it's place in my weekly faves this month and I wanted to reiterate my love for this product.

I cut my hair again this week, pretty short as well actually, well I cut about two and a half inches off - as it hadn't gotten pretty long I may even cut a bit more of yet but we'll have to see with that - into a fairly short bob with a side fringe. I am loving how this looks and I have been trying some new products out to help me discover my style with my new do.
I've never tried anything from Urban Fudge before, there's only a handful of products that I have seen in Boots but this week I decided to pick up the Urban Fudge Miracle Ends Frizz Smoother and the Urban Fudge Crisp Pear & Sweet Vanilla Dry Shampoo. These both smell incredible and I have to say they perform pretty well and have given texture and volume but smoothness with no frizz in sight. That's a big achievement for my frizz ball locks so I am really please with these so far.
I picked up another of the Aussie 3 Minute Miracle Deep Treatments but I opted for the Coloured Hair formula as I really need to start protecting my colour better. I love this product as it's nourishing and makes my hair so silky soft and smooth it's a godsend with my damaged hair. With the trim, it's gotten rid of a lot of my split ends so my hair has never felt so good.
The Got2b Mind Blowing Xpress Dry Styling Spray is a fairly new product to the market, but anything that claims to cut my blow drying time down is right up my street. This also has detangling, heat protecting and conditioning properties too so it's a great all in one and it smells nice too which is obviously the most important thing in hair products. All in all I am really pleased with these products, but one last one which is an old favourite, the Batiste Stylist XXL Volume Spray jumped into my basket and I don't know how but I forgot just how much I relied on this and how much I love it for giving my hair life and volume. It's especially great with short hair so it's going to be a constant in my routine now.

That's it for hair products, now for a new product which I am going to be testing out and wanted your opinions on...

... and that is the St Tropez Instant Tan Wash Off Face & Body Lotion. I've seen a few things on Instagram about this product and as it was on offer I thought I would pick it up. An instant tan is a quick fix, great for those last minute plans and perfect for topping up your Summer tan when you get those legs out. Have you tried this before? What were your thoughts? How do you like to apply this?
