June Favourites

Happy Friday Dear Friends.
I hope you have all had a great week and have a nice relaxing happy weekend with friends and family planned. I have my monthly favourites for you today and you would have seen them all in my weekly round up's but that's what they're there for, so I thought I would still round up my monthly faves anyway. I would love to know what your favourite products are from June or if you have anything you recommend that you think I would love.

I've been trying some new skincare products this month, particularly from The Body Shop, and I have some really great things to say about them, hence why they're in my monthly favourites.
First is the The Body Shop Skin Defence which has SPF50 and is a really incredible lightweight SPF which has done a great job at protecting my skin. It works great before makeup as a base, but it can be used on it's own as it doesn't leave a funky white cast behind.
The Body Shop Drops of Light Brightening Serum has been my evening serum, mixed with the Nip + Fab Glycolic Fix Serum. I find it smooths and brightens my skin and it's also been doing wonders on my freckles and scars. After just over a month of using it, I really do think this is a great product. The The Drops of Youth Concentrate has been part of my nighttime moisturiser concoction. I mix a blob of my moisturiser with a drop of this concentrate and a couple drops of the Oils of Life Revitalising Facial Oil and this miracle combo has smoothed, softened, hydrated, plumped and brightened my skin up more than anything I've tried. This is truly a dream team of products and The Body Shop have really upped their game.
Speaking of which, up next is the The Body Shop PiƱita Colada Body Scrub which has to be my favourite body scrub of all time. Yes it resembles the consistency of baby sick, but it smells good enough to eat and makes my skin feel incredible. Another hit for TBS.
Finally is the self tan I have been loving and it was my first month trying it but I really am impressed. The Vita Liberata Luxury Tan Rapid gave me an incredible natural, streak-free tan which lasted a good week or so before signs of deterioration. It's the first product I have tried from VL but I will definitely be giving more a go. .

Now for makeup, and I have some new and old goodies which I have been obsessed with this month. First is my newest addition to my collection, the Charlotte Tilbury Magic Foundation. This has been on my radar for a while but I never got round to purchasing it, but after getting something else from the brand (my next product) I just couldn't resist. This is a really great coverage, all round perfect foundation and I have been wearing it on the daily through rain or shine and have really out it through the ringer. I have also been testing and loving the Charlotte Tilbury Instant Look in a Palette which has everything I need for a simple yet classy and glowing look. Eyeshadows, bronzer, blushes and a highlight. My go to travel palette from now on and the quality is impeccable.

Next, to go with my perfected base, the Emite Diamond Primer reared it's beautiful head out of my collection and screamed at me to use him and boy it's been great. This little guy looks harmless and frankly not like much, but in fact this is a surprisingly great luminous primer which also colour corrects redness and dullness too. It has teeny tiny luminescent particles in and when on the skin, they just look stunning. It's subtle but I can see it and I really love how this looks in general under makeup or on it's own.
To finish off the perfected base, is cheeks and there's been a combo of products which I just cannot get enough of. The Body Shop Honey Bronzer Bronzer is a fair skin gals best friend and for me, this is the perfect bronzer come rain or shine for that beautiful sunkissed, bronze goddess deal. With a little bit of Too Faced Love Flush Blush in Baby Love - which is a beautiful peachy pink blush that looks incredible  in summer, especially with a tan but also with a fair complexion - and the highlighter from the Charlotte Tilbury Palette and that's my look done.

For eyes, the L'Oreal Color Riche Eyeshadows were the best everyday, quick and simple eye combo and I have nothing but great things to say about these shadows. These shades in particular are my favourite - Cafe Saint Germain, Breaking Nude, Over The Taupe - and they're just the easiest to throw on and be good to go. They're pigmented, and really pack a punch in the intensity department. Trust me when I say you need these in your life.

Finally is lips, and the two products I have been going to this month, the only two I've been going to I may add, are the Clarins Instant Light Natural Lip Perfectors. 07 is a really pretty nude, mauve, MLBB shade, and 08 is a stunning raspberry pink shade and both look great with the makeup look I've been wearing using the above products.

This month I have definitely found some all time faves and I've got some new things which I am finding I love just as much. Hope you've had a great June and let's hope Summer shows it's beautiful-ness properly very soon.
