The Weekly Round Up #133

This week was Summer Edit week, the official start to Summer was on Tuesday and although it's not looked much like Summer, this weekend has turned out to be lovely. So, what's happened this week? My dog turned 5, my boyfriend turned 23 - I discovered the best steak whilst out for dinner to celebrate his Birthday -

...and I've just got home from a family photo sesh with my beautiful Nephew Zackary. So it's now time to check out what I've been loving beauty wise this week.

I'll start with the eyes for a change today and the Zoeva Nude Spectrum Palette has been my palette of choice. I love the shades in this palette. There's a great mix of warm and cooler tones, and it's great for an everyday simple look, but also allows for a beautiful smokey eye for the evening time. This was the only palette I used to get ready for Ben's Birthday meal. The Real Techniques Eye Brushes - Deluxe Crease Brush, Base Shadow Brush, Shading Brush have been the best brushes to apply the shadows and are becoming my favourite eye brushes and I use them on the daily.

Now for the complexion, and starting with primer. The Emite Diamond Primer is an illuminating primer which corrects some redness and also gives my skin a natural healthy glow. Love it.
For the cheeks, I am still obsessed with the Too Faced Love Flush Blush in Baby Love and I like to use the B. Angled Contour Brush as it applies just the perfect amount. I love the peachy tone on my fair skin, I'm not normally one for peach blushes but this is a very uplifting and healthy looking shade. I particularly like this blush paired with the The Body Shop Honey Bronzer using the Real Techniques Duo Fibre Brush to apply as it blends it out seamlessly and is again the perfect tone for my fair skin.

Then finally, even though the Summer officially started this week it's not been particularly hot but I love how the Soap & Glory Skin Defence SPF 50 applies and feels on my skin. It's also great as a base for makeup just in case you can't be bothered to put a primer on or if you're going for a no makeup day it doesn't leave your skin white or looking greasy, it's lightweight and can reapply throughout the day.
