How To: Use The Body Shop Honey Bronze Drops of Sun

If you are a regular around these parts, you will know and hopefully understand my love for the The Body Shop Lightening Drops, especially if you are very fair skin like myself. The Darkening Drops didn't really appeal to me, but these new Drops of Sun sounded like little droplets of glowy, bronze heaven, so I just had to give them a try.

HOW TO USE: You can mix this into your daily moisturizer as an all over bronze/glow booster, you can add it into your foundation for a bit extra warmth and the appearance of a natural tan. TBS also advise that if you add a couple extra drops into your foundation you can it as a liquid bronzer/contour, which is a really cool and unique idea. Simply wash off at the end of the day and you're done.

The drops themselves are matte, no shimmer whatsoever, and although they look quite intimidating, they actually provide a really natural healthy glow, which you can use to keep your tan topped up. Or if you've used self tanner and need to match your face to your body, a couple drops into your moisturiser or foundation is the perfect way to give yourself that holiday glow. They're called the Holiday Glow Creator for a reason. Plus, you can fake the sunkissed glow for one day at an event or a special occassion and it's completely commitment-free, just wash off at the end of the day, no waiting for it to fade or scrubbing at your skin to get it off or worrying it will get all over your bed sheets. It's a fuss free, no strings attached self tanner for those lazy buggers who can't be bothered to wait around for hours, or self-tan newbies.

Like the Shade Adjusting Lightening Drops they don't affect the consistency, texture or performance of the product you are mixing in with the drops, they just add a healthy bronze glow and that's it.
The price is pretty decent at only £12 and these will last for a long time as you really don't need much, and the packaging is the same as the Shade Adjusting Drops, I'm not a massive fan of the dropper, it's not too reliable as it can sometimes end up taking a while to get any product out, but I like how small and compact they made the bottle so they're easy to travel with.

There are quite a few other products in the Honey Bronze range, some I didn't even know about, so if you want some more products to top up your tan for the summer then check out The Body Shop website here.
