April Faves

Happy Sunday!! What are you guys up to today? I'm pretty sure I say this every month but I have a lot of favourites again this month so I'm not going to blab on for too long so this doesn't take a week to read.

FRAGRANCE: Up first is the perfume that I have been loving and my boyfriend brought this for me as an anniversary gift but I have been wearing it everyday and I'm obsessed with the scent. It's the Giorgio Armani Si Perfume I have written a blog post on it but to sum it up, it's an incredible complex and unique scent and I think that's why I love it so much. Go take a sniff and you'll know exactly what I mean.

NAILS: Let's just go the opposite of how we normally do. The nail polishes I have been loving are the brand new Barry M Coconut Infusion Nail Polish particularly the shades Aloha and Surfboard, as they're very Spring appropriate shades and I love the shade and tone of Surfboard so I've been wearing this for most of the month.

MAKEUP - BASE: Now on to the makeup, and first up is the complexion. I have discovered a couple new products and combos this month. First is the NARS Skin Tint and this is a really great coverage foundation but it's called a skin tint. It's not too matte or drying which always worries me with matte base products, and it's just been a great everyday product to even out my skin tone. Also for the base the Revlon ColorStay Foundation  was repackaged to include a pump and also had SPF added to it and I have been particularly favouring it when mixed with the with Becca Backlight Priming Filter  as this gives it a glow factor and luminosity whilst still keeping the coverage and longevity of the foundation. Ace combo.
The Soap & Glory Kick Ass Concealer & Corrector Sticks have been a great addition to my preparation of my base as I like to use these to brighten, eliminate redness and dark circles and even prime my skin, so these have been a welcomed step in my routine. Along with these the Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer has proven itself again for the umpteenth time as the best concealer in the drugstore - probably even ever - as it has been great for covering dark circles, redness, spots, along with priming eyelids for eyeshadow and with a bit of the Soap & Glory One Heck of a Blot Powder this concealer sticks around all day and holds up pretty darn well. Always impressed with this and I highly recommend picking up a tube or two for those bad skin days or late nights.

CHEEKS: I don't like to change up my cheek products too often, but I have been trying to make more of an effort to it so this month I dug out some of my old faves, the Tarte Exposed Blush which is possibly my favourite blush ever as it looks son incredible on my fair skin, either as a light flush or built up for a bit ore drama or impact. The TheBalm Mary Lou-Manizer Highlighter is also one I have been loving and this really packs a punch in the glow department and let me tell you, that is totally my jam right now.
I picked up some new Zoeva products as none of the products I've tried from this brand has failed me yet. So I've been trying out the Zoeva Rose Golden Palette which has three powders, a contour shade, a highlighter and a blush. I've mainly been using the contour and highlight as they are such beautiful shades, and surprisingly worked great for my fair skin. I'm not sure if this is new or not but it's worth checking out if you haven't already. I also picked up the Zoeva Nude Spectrum Blush Palette and when I first got this I wasn't sure how I would be able to utilise these shades but I have actually been really liking them, especially the bottom right corner, as this is a matte blush that also works really great for my fair skin too.

EYES/BROWS: So I am going to continue the Zoeva trend as the eyeshadow palette I have been obsessed with is the Cool Spectrum Palette as it has one particular shade that I just have not been able to stop wearing, it's the shade on the fourth row down in the middle. It's a beautiful shimmery taupe shade and I just love how it looks on the eyes either on it's own, with winged liner, with smudged out liner, it just looks amazing and I cannot get over how beautiful it is. I've also been loving the two mid tone shades, both cool toned obviously, but the two shades on the left of the top two rows have just been my go to when it comes to blending out the crease and diffusing the taupe shadow. The formula of these eyeshadows is incredible and I will be doing a swatches post on these along with the Warm Spectrum Palette and the two Zoeva palettes mentioned above so keep your eyes peeled for that.
Speaking of liner, I have been very into the winged liner this month and my absolute fave is the L'Oreal Perfect Slim Liner as this can create a wing in seconds and is so simple and easy to use it's crazy. Definitely one to pick up for any winged liner novices or pros. I've been really liking the Manna Eye Primer this month too as it's really helped to amp up the volume of my lashes. It's white when applied but doesn't dry white and then with the Benefit They're Real Mascara over the top, it gives my lashes a false look whilst being lifted, curled and long just from two products.

As for the brows. I have been using the Studio 10 / Look Good Feel Better Brow Pencil  on the daily as it's a really great taupe brown shade and it fills in sparse areas whilst still looking natural. Then I go over that with the Soap & Glory Volu-Boost Archery Brow Gel which is my current go to brow gel as it's tinted and it has fibres in to add volume and thickness which my brows are most certainly in need of.

LIPS: There has been some lip combos that I have been wearing a lot this month. First is the Soap & Glory Matte Lipstick in Blush Pink which has been a long term favourite of mine for a while now but as I've rediscovered it this month I have been wearing it a lot. I love that it's matte, I love the shade, the creaminess and how it feels and wears on the lips, it's not drying or uncomfortable so it's a great option for everyday. The Clinique Plum Pop Lipstick has also been a go to for me in the last two weeks. It's great on it's own but I particularly like how it looks with the Barry M 04 Lip Boss Lip Gloss over the top.
You may have seen my review on the Revlon Ultra HD Matte Lip Colours, I have been particularly loving the shades Seduction and Devotion together as they make a really great nude pink shade and then Addiction as it's current favourite go to berry long lasting lip colour.

SKINCARE: As for skincare, I have got myself into a routine which I am really happy with. But these new additions have been a welcomed presencce as they all offer great things for my skin. The Soap & Glory Make Yourself Youthful Serum is a product I use to use a few months ago but I hadn't got round to repurchasing, but this month I did and I have been loving the feel it has given my skin. I have also been mixing in the The Body Shop Oils of Life Revitalising Facial Oil -which I received in this months Glossybox - with my regular night time moisturiser for a hydration boost and it's been doing incredible things for my skin in terms of softness and smoothness, along with how plump and hydrated it feels.
Final thing is also part oil, the Garnier Oil Infused Micellar Water has been great to remove my makeup before a workout as it removes eye makeup better than any other product I have used, and it's great for liquid lipsticks. But, more about this in my April fitness update post.

That's it for todays post and that wraps up April in a IABT bow. Check out tomorrows Monthly Update for more things I've loved this month.
