The Weekly Round Up #122

08:00

Today I wanted to show you the products I have been loving this week. We've got quite a few base products, but also a new fragrance I'm loving and some TV shows. Let's take a look at the deets...

MAKEUP: You may have seen my review on the NARS Velvet Matte Skin Tint by now, and I've used it most days this week and it's abilities continues to amaze me. I love the coverage, the longevity, how it makes my skin look. It's just great, and you can see my full review here.
When I've not worn this, I've been wearing the Revlon ColorStay Foundation, and I have been really liking how it looks with the Becca Backlight Priming Filter and this then keeps the coverage of the foundation, but gives a really nice glow, plus, I love the new packaging as it makes it so much easier to pump out and use. I didn't realise I uploaded two foundation related posts this week so I apologise about that.

The Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer never seems to disappoint, always surprise me and remind me how awesome it it. This week I have been using it non stop and I just love it. Great, affordable and super high coverage with one heck of a staying power.
I have a concealer combo that I have been loving this week and that is the Soap & Glory Dark Circles Concealer with the Estee Lauder Double Wear BB Glow Concealer. This duo corrects, conceals and stays for hours. I love how simple it is to apply, simply blend out with a Beauty Blender and it looks great, dark circles gone. It doesn't last all day but it lasts long enough. I like to set this with the Soap & Glory One Heck Of a Blot Powder.

I have been loving the contour powder in this little palette. It's the perfect light, neutral to cool tone contour shade which is incredible for fair skin, and that's difficult to come by. The powder itself isn't that pigmented which has it's good points and bad, good os that you can build it up and even with a heavy hand you apply the perfect amount. Bad is that it takes longer and you use more of the product. But even with those bad points, I still love it. The blush isn't really my thing, it's way too glittery for me but the highlight, oh wow the highlight is all sorts of iridescent goodness. For less than £15 it's worth your time checking it out.

FRAGRANCE: For our one year anniversary my boyfriend bought me the Giorgio Armani Si Perfume, and I have to say I am in love with the scent. It's very warm and musky with the Amber, but also quite sweet at the same time as it has Vanilla notes in there too. I love the bottle, I love the scent and I obviously love my boyfriend for getting me such an amazing fragrance.

TV: This week I've been discovering some new TV shows and my favourites have definitely been Shiki which is an anime, Tokyo Ghoul which is also an anime, both very gory and very good. Then Ben and I discovered a show call Eye Candy which is a 10 episode series which is definitely worth a watch.

YOUTUBE: This week, my favourite video on YouTube by far has to be Hello October's Makeup Collection, it was a great video and I love that she has really down sized my makeup collection which is what I also did this week (see my post here).
