Soap & Glory Kick Ass Concealers

Like with all Soap & Glory products, the technology is innovative and incredible, so I wanted to touch on it quickly to explain how it works and the amazing-ness behind these products, but I also need to make sure I don't bore you to death. So I hope I can achieve both tasks well.
Alright let's get into it....

These are the Soap & Glory Kick Ass Concealers, they've recently been released on the Boots website, this month in fact, and cost only £8 each, but with their current 3 for 2 offer, it's worth snatching up a few others. The packaging is cute, effective and well eye-catching. Makes you wonder what they are considering they're bright purple and green. I love the consistency of these too, they're not drying like other colour correcting products I've tried. Which made these my favourites as soon as I tried them.

As you probably know, I have ridiculously dark circles and it's quite a challenge to correct and cover them so when I saw this, I admit, I got excited. This is creamy, easy to blend and works wonders on banishing my dark circles as it is a yellow tone so it corrects whilst concealing. It's truly magical, I swear. It's a perfect handy, on-the-go size so you can ditch the industrial strength super full coverage concealer and look bright-eyed and ready to go in no time at all.

How Does It Work:
This concealer uses Green Tea extract to leave skin feeling firmer and more hydrated, whilst providing it's amazing coverage and blending like a dream.

This is a lilac toned concealer which is great for brightening up a dull complexion. It doesn't actually blend out and still look purple on your skin so don't worry, but it really does work. If you have freckles or dark spots like I do, I find it works particularly well on those and almost erases them, but, by the time the rest of my makeup is on, they're pretty much disappeared completely. It's a great product and although putting purple on your face is daunting to start with, just experiment and have a little play, that's the only way you'll figure out it's best use for you.

How Does It Work:
With the Reflecta-Bright Prism Effect Technology, this has the power to do some serious covering up, and I don't mean the bad illegal kind, but the amazing covering your imperfections and revealing your natural beauty and will ensure your skin is glowing from the inside out.

This is different to the others, it's not a concealer, more like a blurring primer so I apply this first, mainly onto my t-zone to just smooth everything out. I find it works particularly well on my pores and fine lines and my makeup just glides over the top for a soft-focus effect and a seamless , flawless appearance. Some skin smoothing primers can clog pores and break me out but this one doesn't do that at all. It makes my skin look and feel amazing and I have been using this everyday whether I am wearing makeup or not.

How Does It Work:
To give your skin that smooth, flawless appearance, S&G uses Invisi-Veil Technology - a blend of lightweight oils and wax, which are used to lay a transparent layer of light-scrambling film where flaws once prospered. But that's not all, there's another magic ingredient called FlawFillers which consists of micro-fine silicon resin spheres that fill in lines, smooth the skin and mattify but still keeping a natural glow to the skin.

A green face product, no it's not for Halloween. Green is the best way to cover up any redness that you have on your skin from things like spots, scars, any rosacea or skin irritations. This one not only has the ability to fight off redness, but also to soothe the skin with Aloe Vera extract which I haven't managed to find in any other green concealers. It blends effortlessly to give a smooth finish to the skin whilst evening out the tone of your complexion. I love how this looks on the skin, it doesn't look or feel dry, it smooths over blemishes so easily that there's no risk of any redness peeking through your foundation.

How Does It Work:
There's a blemish-hiding technology in this particular product which S&G calls Flatterspheres. I for one can vouch that it works, too. This can conceal your biggest sins and still look natural and flawless.

I love how these products perform and look on my skin and I feel like these will be so easy to use for any makeup newbies as it's like colouring in your face with chunky crayons, not the best way to describe it but well, let's be honest. I don't like to go to cray with these otherwise it can get a bit too much and before you know it, you're on the train to clown-ville, that's difficult to come back from.

I will be posting a Colour Correcting Guide of sorts soon, with some tips on how to get a natural looking complexion without looking like a rainbow threw up all over you.
