Blogmas Day #31 The 2015 Round Up #Skincare

I can't believe it's the last day and the post of 2015. It's my second edition of my 2015 faves and it's all about skincare today. Not as rambly and long as yesterdays makeup faves. But if you want to see what was on my 2014 skincare faves then you can see that here. So let's go.

Alright let's start at the beginning. Cleansing. I have been a true advocate of the Oskia Renaissance Cleansing Gel for most of the year and I still love it, however the No7 Melting Gel Cleanser came into my life towards the end of the year, but I am just as obsessed and I love how it makes my skin feel and look and it's definitely a drugstore dupe for the Oskia Cleanser. I highly recommend checking this out if you have been wanting to try out the more expensive cleanser, as the No7 one is under a tenner.

I've gone on about the GlamGlow SuperMud and the GlamGlow ThirstyMud a shit tonne, so it should come as no surprise that they are in my annual faves. The SM is a great skin detoxifying mask, the clay pulls out all the gross-ness out of my skin and it is a great spot treatment too. As for the TM, this I use overnight when my skin is feeling a little dry or dull. It's an intense hydrating mask and this winter it is my must have.
However there are some new ones to the mix which are fairly new, but they are so incredible and may I even say slightly better? I can't believe I said that. The Sanctuary 5 Minute Detox Thermal Mask is very similar to the GG in that it detox's the skin and draws everything out. Only difference is that this warms when applying and makes my skin feel comfortable, no dry tight feeling. As for the other mask, the Sanctuary 5 Minute Radiance Peel Off Mask has become a must have too. It's similar to the REN Glycolic Mask in texture, but this one dries and then peels off. It makes my skin glow, more than any other mask I have tried and I love it, so I highly recommend both of these Sanctuary masks now that I have tried them for long enough.

Ever since I was little I've had freckles, and although I don't particularly like them, I was never all that fussed with them. But now, they bother me more and more, the reason for this pointless intro into the next product is because I picked up the Kiehls Clearly Corrective Dark Spot Solution to try and prevent any more as well as help get rid of the scars from previous blemishes. It's doing a pretty incredible job and for the next year I hope to see it improve even more. That is my aim for my skin in 2016. No. More. Scars.
Alright, onto my next fave and the Sarah Chapman Overnight Facial was a huge purchase, but I am so glad I got it. It's a pretty darn expensive facial oil but it makes my skin look and feel incredible. It's great to mix with moisturisers, other oils or serums, as well as foundations if your skin is extra dry. Yes it's pricey but it's worth it in my eyes.
For the last treatment, it was in last years faves but it's done an incredible job at getting rid of any spots super fast, do I even need to say what it is? Yeah might help, it's the Avene TriAcneal. I put this on any blemishes or growing spots and it reduces the size, redness and pain overnight. It's incredible and it should really get more credit than it does. It's the best spot treatment I've ever used.

Soap & Glory:
I have discovered a lot of Soap & Glory skincare this year, and I am so impressed by it I haven't stopped raving about them. Seriously, you can see my raves on S&G here. Alright so my faves are the Make Yourself Youthful Super Serum which is an incredible serum I use every morning to hydrate, smooth and it generally just leaves my skin look and feel healthy and glowing. From the same line, I have been obsessed with the Make Yourself Youthful Rejuvenating Eye Cream as it's so hydrating, great for night time or under makeup and I can't say it's done anything for my dark circles but it certainly hydrates and soothes my under eye area. The Night & Flight Beauty Accelerator Moisture Miracle Moisturiser is the only moisturiser I have used for the night time this year. It's such an amazing hydrating cream and it makes my skin so soft and smooth and healthy looking and I use this in rotation with my exfoliating overnight treatment and this just helps to bring back the moisture to my skin. Love. It. Also on the moisturising front (do you see a pattern here?) is the Feel Good Factor Translucent BB Cream SPF25 this is a great simple everyday moisturiser with SPF25 so it makes it great for the winter time, but I used this all year round and then just topped up with more SPF depending on the day but this has just been amazing.

I'm really surprised that I didn't have more to feature in today's post but I have been using a lot of the same stuff through the year and from last year so you can see last years skincare faves here.
