Blogtober Day #31 October Favesies

08:00

It's monthly favourites time which means it's the end of Blogtober. I had a really great time uploading everyday. I got a great response from all of the posts I did and I just wanted to say thank you, it means a lot that you guys are reading, liking and enjoying the content I upload. So thank you all very much.

It's been a great month when it comes to the beauty side of things. New discoveries, new hair and some new things that I am working on too which will be revealed soon.

First is Octobers Weekly Round Up's... 95 // 96 // 97 // 98 //

For the complexion, I have loved the NARS Sheer Glow mixed with the NARS All Day Luminous Weightless Foundation. This combo gives the perfect coverage, perfect finish and it lasts all day. NARS really know how to bring it when it comes to their complexion products. I like to first apply this with the Look Good Feel Better Multi-Tasking Brush first and then going in and blending it with the Beauty Blender.
I have also been loving the Hourglass Ambient Lighting Powder in Dim Light. This has been giving a beautiful finish and it just looks so stunning on the skin. Another LGFB Brush , the Powder Brush, perfect size, applies just the right amount, doesn't look cakey or powdery and is by far the best powder brush I've used.

For the cheeks, I have quite a few products I've been loving. First is the Too Faced Chocolate Soleil Bronzer. This is the most delicious smelling makeup range I've ever smelt, and the shade of the bronzer is just perfect for my skin tone and no matter whether I am super pale, or have a touch of a tan it just looks great. I like the Real Techniques Duo-Fibre Brush as it applies the perfect amount of product on to the skin and blends it seamlessly, the look it gives is just stunning and I love it.
To go along with that I have been testing out the Too Faced Cocoa Contour Palette which has a great contour shade for my skin. I'm not that keen on the other contour shade or the shimmery highlight but the Light Cocoa is great for setting under your eyes or on you t-zone.I use the Real Techniques Sculpting Brush to really help define those cheekbones, I put a bit down the sides of my nose and across the bridge, and up on my forehead/temples. It looks great, it's super quick to do and it's great for everyday.
For blush, I used the Clarins Soft Peach Blush for the first two weeks of the month and then the last two the Tarte Amazonian Clay Blush in Posh from this Tarte Park Avenue Princess Palette. I've also been loving the highlight in this palette, it's the Amazonian Clay Highlight in Champagne Gold. Both of the blushes work great with either the LGFB Blush Brush or the Angled Contour Brush.

I've had a certain eye look this month and it mainly consisted of these products...
First is the Maybelline Eyeshadow in Sultry Sand which is a really pretty nude champagne shade which went all over the lid - I also used Nude and Champagne as well as Light Bronze from the Lorac Pro Palette which are beautiful shadows. I then blend Pewter, also from the Lorac Pro Palette into the outer corner and also under the lower lash line. Some winged liner, black kohl liner on the waterline and some mascara and that's it. Simple, quick and easy.

There's been some lip products that have been my go to's this month. First is the Too Faced Melted Lipstick in Melted Fig. I've heard a lot about these and I finally picked up a travel size and I am in love. The shade is beautiful, 100% my type of lip colour, it lasts ages, 100% my kind of lip product, and it goes with any makeup look, 100%... I think you get the idea.
I've also been switching/mixing this with the Rimmel Exaggerate Lip Liner in East End Snob and the Gosh Matte Lipstick in Matt Rose which are pretty much the same colour and they are just a great everyday lip combo that I wear a lot. My Soap & Glory Blush Pink Matte Lipstick has barely got a look in.

Skincare time now and I have been all about the hydration and radiance this month with the colder weather creeping in. So there's been a handful of products that I've been loving and I just had to talk to you about them.
First for hydration is the Oskia Perfect Cleanser and this is such an incredible cleanser. I use this in the evening, as my next step after removing my makeup and this just cleans my skin, makes my skin so soft and smooth and it feels amazing when massaging it in. A very luxurious product and I love the Oskia cleansers.
The GlamGlow ThirstyMud is what I've been using as an overnight hydrating mask to give my skin a hydration boost. It makes my skin feel soft and plump and just comfortable and my makeup goes in so beautifully after I've used this. I only use this as an overnight mask, I've never just worn it for 10 minutes or whatever and I find I get the best results leaving it overnight.
For the morning, the Soap & Glory Super Serum and the Bright + Beautiful Serum is the perfect combo, to keep my skin hydrated through the day and gives a really nice glow and it's great if you don't want to wear any makeup on your skin.
The last skincare product is the Kiehls Dark Spot Correcting Serum to help with pigmentation and any dark spots and sun damage from the summer. It's a really nice product, and it really smooths my skin out and I have noticed a difference in some of the scars I have and I owe it mainly to this (although other products have been helping too).

On my nails this month it's either been one of these polishes. Both from the Barry M Sunset Daylight Curing range, the first is part of the original release which is Fuchsia Generation and the other is part of their Autumn range and that is Dark Side of the Shroom. Very different colours, but so beautiful and they're great for this time of the year.

You may have seen the review I did on this range of products from Tresemme (which you can see here) but I have been obsessed with these this month and that is the Perfectly UnDone range. I have the Dry Defining Spray which gives texture and makes the layers and waves in my hair more noticeable and just gives a little something extra, the Wave Creating Sea Foam which I use in wet hair, I then blow dry once my hair is about 75% dry and this helps with texture, waves and generally a "I really did wake up like this" kind of look. I also love the Ultra Brushable Hair Spray which I've found holds my curls for most of the day but it allows them to drop out slightly and just gives a natural kind of look which is what this range is all about.

I hope you liked this months Blogtober and if you would like to see more posts from me, then please subscribe via email to get notifications as well as social media.
