Blogtober Day #11 The Weekly Round Up #96

This week has gone very fast and I realised how close we are getting to Christmas when I went into a shop called The Range and they had all their Christmas trees and lights up. Very scary to think it's just under 10 weeks away, But anyway, I've got quite a few favourites this week and so let's get into it.
I've heard a lot about the Tarte makeup brushes so I thought I would pick up their Double Ended Complexion Brush, which can be used for a few different jobs. This has a tapered brush on one end and a flat kabuki style on the other. Very similar to the Sigma ones but they're just a bit smaller. I have been using the pointed side for concealer around the chin and under the eyes where I want more coverage, and the flat brush is great to just add some extra coverage in certain areas on my face with my foundation. They're super soft, make blending out product super easy, and they're also great for highlighter, cream or powder, and other powder products. Love the handle of the brush too.

I have been loving the Dim Light powder from the Hourglass Ambient Lighting Powder Palette this week. It used to be too dark for my skin but it now seems to work great. I use it on a fluffy powder brush like the Look Good Feel Better one and it gives a beautiful glow without looking powdery or cakey at all.

This Too Faced Contour Palette has been my jam this week. I love Too Faced products, I just can't seem to get enough of them, and this is no different. I love the medium contour shade, the shimmery highlight shade is far too glittery for my liking, it's great if you want an intense highlight like for a night out but for an everyday look it's not my favourite. The light shade is a great setting powder for under the eyes, although that's not my favourite product from the palette. That Medium Cocoa Shade is just beautiful and it's perfect for my pale skin. It's pigmented as heck though which I learn't the first time I used it. But it's a great product and I really hope they do this in it's own compact so I don't have to use the palette all the time as it's not ideal for travelling.

I thought it was about time I try some more things out from Clarins and I have heard a lot about the Blush Prodige Illuminating Cheek Colour in 02 Soft Peach, so I thought I would pick that up first. This is surprisingly tiny but I love this little thing. It has a beautiful shimmer to it and it's the most natural, beautiful peachy pink shade. I like that it has a lighter pink and a dark rosy kind of shade so you can use on or the other or mix them both together which is what I do.

This week I have been loving the Lorac Pro Palette this week, in particular the shades Nude and Champagne with a little bit of Lt Bronze for all over the lid, and then Pewter on the outer corner and crease, as it has created a soft eye look which I've been pairing with winged liner and then the Maybelline Color Show Eyeshadow in Lustrous Beige has also been great for the lid or inner corner and it's such a pigmented beautiful unique shade and lasts all day.

My perfect MLBB shade and possibly my favourite ever lipstick is the Soap & Glory Super Colour Fabu-Lipstick in Blush Pink, it's a matte formula except it doesn't dry my lips out and it's actually very comfortable on the lips and lasts a few hours. I love these lipsticks, they're the best formulas and although the shade range isn't particularly comprehensive they shades they do have are very pretty and wearable.
I am starting to think the TRESemme Perfectly (Un)Done range is worth another look in to, especially with my short hair. But I have been loving the Dry Defining Spray as it is great for adding that extra oomph to your waves and layers, gives some great texture. They also have a Ultra Brush-able Hairspray and a Root Lifting Texturising DustSea Salt Spray and the Wave Creating Sea Foam sounds like a really cool product, so you may seem some or all in next weeks round up.

That's it for this weeks round up. I hope you had a great week and please let me know what you have been loving.
