The Weekly Round Up #94

08:00

It's time for the round up of what I've been loving this week. It's been pretty chilled, although the time I had in Essen last weekend was pretty awesome but this week I've had a lot of blogging preperation to do for Blogtober which I am super excited about and that starts October 1st so I hope you will join me for that. But enough blabbering on, let's get into what I've been loving this week.

I've cut my hair this week and I am absolutely in love with it. I will be uploading a post about it in the next few days and show you my inspiration for the big chop. But for now, I've been loving the Maria Nila Luminous Colour Mask which is great for protecting your colour but it also makes my hair feel amazing, it's nourished, soft, shiny and just the best condition it's been in a long time.
The John Masters Detangler is another great monthly beauty subscription box find that is definitely going to be replenished once this sample runs out. It's the best Detangler that I've ever used and even when I had long hair it was just amazing.
One more beauty box favourite is the Rituals Ayurveda Scrub Indian Rose & Multani Clay Purifying Body Scrub. I've been seeing a lot of Rituals products around on beauty blogs recently and although this is the only product I have tried from the brand, it's a great representation of the rest of their range. It smells great, pepperminty and refreshing. Plus it makes my skin so fricking soft and smooth that I just cannot get over it. I have a feeling the brand is pretty darn expensive so I may have to wait to purchase the full size but it's definitely a great product.

My complexion duo of choice is the Tarte Amazonian Clay Full Coverage Foundation, mixed with the Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector In Moonstone. I love this foundation but sometimes it's too heavy, especially for an everyday purpose so with this liquid Illuminator, it gives the perfect glow, coverage and everything else I could ever want. It's perfect and I love it completely.

You'll see more about the Too Faced Perfect Eyeliner tomorrow but this has been the only liner I've used for my waterline. The L'Oreal Super Liner Perfect Slim is my favourite liquid liner that I've found. It gives the perfect wing, perfect thickness of line, and lasts all day.

I have been obsessed with the Too Faced Milk Chocolate Soleil Bronzer mixed with the Chocolate Soleil Bronzer. When mixed together, they're the perfect shade for my skin tone and the smell is incredible. I love to apply this with the Real Techniques Duo-Fibre Face Brush
Now for the lip products I've been using this week and first, as I was away in Essex last weekend for a birthday party, I found my perfect combo, the Soap & Glory Matte Lipstick in Pom Pom with the Soap & Glory Gloss Stick on Pink Punch. This create the perfect berry/pink shade and whilst one is matte and longer lasting, the other is more of a tinted balm so it's hydrating. Simply pat over the top and it provides a stain like effect.

For an everyday lip, tinted balms or gloss sticks are great and my current favourites, are the Soap & Glory Gloss Stick in Raplumzel as well as the Bourjois Color Boost Crayon in Proudly Naked. The first is a plum, pink kind of shade, very sheer, hydrating and just a tint of colour. The latter is a nude which just evens out the tone of my lips, great to just throw on and run out the door. I love both as equally and think they're great products.

There's a number of songs that I've been listening to non stop this week.
1. Whatever she's got by David Nail
2. Sangria by Blake Shelton
3. If you only knew by Shinedown
4. Kiss you in the morning by Michael Ray

The movie this week is one I've seen before but I watched it again with the boyfriend this week and I remembered how awesome it was. It's Now You See Me which is about a group of magicians, brought together by a vengeful son. But I don't want to spoil it for you so I won't share anymore. Just watch it, it's mind blowing.
I finished season 1 of Dark Matter this week which I have to say ended at a fantastic climax. It's a great TV series, Earth gets blown up, people live in space on massive ships and it's just a great story line. highly suggest checking it out if you are looking for a new TV show to watch.

That's it for this weeks favourites. It's the start of October on Thursday which means it's the start of Blogtober. Where I blog everyday through October. So subscribe by email and follow me on social media for updates and notifications of when I upload.

What's your favourite movie?
