The Weekly Round Up #91

08:00

There's been so much talk of Autumn this week which is very scary as we barely had a Summer. But I do love this time of year and September is officially the start of Autumn, September 23rd to be exact, so expect a lot of Autumn related posts plastered across the beauty bloggersphere.

Alright so I've been trying quite a few new products this week and I have been loving them, and as it's weekly round up time, I thought I would share my thoughts and faves.

Up first is the Look Good Feel Better Makeup Brushes, I did a review of these on my blog which you can check out here. You guys all seemed to really like that post and I have just been loving using these brushes, (I haven't really picked up my Real Techniques Brushes other than the Bold Metals Contour Brush which is actually another favourite this week). But back to LGFB, my favourite brushes in particular are the Blush Brush - great size, super fluffy so blends out products great, Blending Brush - so soft and blends out eyeshadow perfectly, Multi-Tasking Brush - this is great for most things related to face makeup application, but I have specifically been loving it for foundation and setting concealer with powder, Angled Contour Brush - has been great for applying bronzer and sometimes if I'm too lazy to switch to another brush then this is what I use instead. Incredible quality, great cause and company and I am obsessed with these.

I picked up some new Soap & Glory stuff on my last Boots excursion including the Soap & Glory One Heck Of A Blot Primer and I have been loving this this week. I also dug out the Soap & Glory One Heck Of A Blot Powder which is such a fine, translucent powder and it sets the skin without any powdery, cakey effect. My blush favourite of the week is the Maxfactor Creme Puff Blush in Seductive Pink, these are by far my favourite blush from the drugstore and what a beautiful formula.

Another Soap & Glory new buy is the It's About Prime Eye Primer. This is another great product from the drugstore and boy does it work wonders. This keeps my eyeshadow looking it's best, crease-free all day. Speaking of eyeshadow I've been loving the Collection Eyes Uncovered Nude Palette which has some beautiful neutral creams and taupes as well as a great dark brown for outer crease or even as a liner which I love it for. This is a great palette and the shadows are such high quality.

I love the Soap & Glory Gloss Sticks but they have re-formulated and re-packaged them and so I obviously had to pick some up and my gosh they're just as awesome. The new ones are called the Sexy Mother Pucker 3D Gloss Sticks, they're mini-er versions, and I have the shades Pink Punch and Pink-a-Boo. Some of these have shimmer, but not all, and I find the darker of the two I have is more like a stain and it lasts for flippin' ages, even through a ridiculously large amount of popcorn. I still like the original gloss sticks, and will definitely be keeping the shades I have and will continue to use.

The movie of the week has definitely been Grace: The Posessed which is a very unique movie which shows you possession, through the possessed's eyes, darn good movie and I highly recommend it.

I have made some new purchases again this week which you will see in a haul soon, only just done one so can't upload another yet. But there's a mix of high end and drugstore products. Some new releases and some cult classics.

What have you loved this week?
