The Weekly Round Up #86
08:00I've been trying out some new products this week and I have been really impressed. If you want to see this weeks drugstore haul check it out here.
As you may have seen in this weeks drugstore haul I picked up some more of the L'Oreal Color Riche Eyeshadows in Over The Taupe, Golden Nude, Breaking Nude, I also have the shade Cafe Saint Germain which is my favourite eyeshadow ever. I love the formula and there is also a matte formula in here too which is a great transition shade for everyday.
I purchased the L'Oreal True Match Foundation in the shade C1 as it's slightly pinker and lighteer which matches my skin much better. The Real Techniques Buffing Brush is my preferred method of application and I also go over it with the Beauty Blender just to make sure it's all perfectly blended.
I have finally managed to pick up the Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector in Moonstone in the Powder and the Liquid. These are both totally beautiful and I am so in love with them. They're pigmented, illuminating and the shade is just perfect for my skin tone.
It's been a few months since I have used the Kiehls Midnight Recovery Concentrate so when I repurchased and started using it again I noticed how amazing my skin felt and how smooth it looked. I also picked up the Kiehls Clearly Corrective Dark Spot Corrector as I am really hoping it will help with my freckles and the scars I have thanks to some not so friendly friends on my chin. It's very light and I just apply it to the areas I need to and job done.
A super exciting purchase arrived on my doorstep this week, The Glam Guide by Fleur De Force. I have a few beauty books but Fleur is one of my favourite Youtubers and bloggers ever and the fact she has written a book about everything I love, in her classic style makes me admire her even more.
My boyfriend Ben and I are completely obsessed with a TV show called Community. It's set in a community college where this study group go through all types of different disasters and events. There's zombies, CSI, a paintballing apocalypse, it's just brilliant and we just cannot get enough of it.
My favourite movie this week is The Darkest Hour. I've seen this numerous times and I've only just remembered what it was called after a year or so. I highly recommend it.
