The Weekly Round Up #83

A lot of these favourites you would have seen in this weeks posts, as I have been loving them all so much, I wanted to share my thoughts now that I have been using them long enough and have a good indication of my final review so I apologise if it is slightly repetitive. But it does go to show that I truly am loving the products to mention them a couple of times each in posts this week.

I switched up my dressing table set up as I wanted to make sure my favourite and new products were to hand, and that I was using them everyday.

So I cleaned out this Muji 2 Drawer Acrylic Storage and it's got my everyday makeup as well as my  new products to try. I've got my Beauty Blenders and the Beauty Blender Solid Cleanser in a little dish next to my makeup brushes so I remember to clean them. I am really liking this set up and the flowers in the corner and there's no more clutter and products all over the place.

I am still on the bronzer kick guys and I have even more products that I have been loving...

I've only tried a couple of things from Laura Mercier but they've both been so fricking awesome so after admiring this for a while, I decided to finally get the Laura Mercier Matte Radiance Baked Powder and I am so pleased I did. The name is kind of confusing but it gives the most beautiful highlight ever and I can't get over just how stunning it loves on the skin. It's just heavenly. The Real Techniques Setting Brush is what I've been using to apply my highlighter this week and I love it.

The Maybelline Dream Bronze BB Cream has been great as a natural and quick bronze glow in the mornings and I love how the RT Sculpting Brush applies it and blends it out. It's not too harsh and it blends in to give a natural look. There's nothing worse than applying makeup and being able to see the edges that haven't been blended properly. I layer a powder bronzer over the top like the Too Faced Milk Chocolate Soleil, or the Maybelline Master Sculpt in Light/Medium to set the cream product and intensify the bronzey-ness or contour more.

I've had my eye on the Charlotte Tilbury Bronze & Glow for quite a while and it was most certainly love at first sight. Although it is a sculpting powder, it's not 100% matte so it can bronze up your skin and give it a beautiful glow which is why I love this product. The Real Techniques Sculpting Brush is what I've been using to apply this with and this brush is just incredible. As for the highlighter, holy moly it's beautiful, and to apply this, the Real Techniques Setting Brush is the right size, and this brush is fluffy enough and not too dense that it doesn't pick up too much product and make it look like pure glitter on my face.

The Too Faced Bronzer Wardrobe was not a necessary purchase but I have been keen to try out all the bronzers from their range as they all sound great, and I mean come on, what an excellent idea. Find your perfect bronzer by trialing mini bronzers all from one palette? Switch it up for whatever outfit and still look awesome. Yes, seems excessive for a regular girl like me but as a lover of makeup, it makes me very happy. I am in love with the Milk Chocolate Soleil Bronzer (top centre), as its pale enough for my skin tone, and when I'm self tanner I mix in a bit of the Chocolate Soleil (on the right of milk chocolate) to darken it up a bit, but they smell amazing and just look lovely on the skin. I use the Real Techniques Cheek Brush as it's the right size and it blends out the product evenly and effortlessly - which is super handy in the mornings as my brain can't quite function properly.

This week I have been loving the Tarte Amazonian Clay 12-hour Full Coverage Foundation, and the Real Techniques Expert Face Brush has been the perfect tool to apply it. It gives a flawless complexion and although the shade is slightly off, with self tanner, it looks great, covers everything, gives a stunning glow to the face and lasts much better than any other foundation. It makes my skin feel really soft and smooth, plus it lasts all day.

Because I've been going for the more bronze makeup look recently, I wanted a blush that was natural and wouldn't take the focus away from the rest of the makeup. So the Tarte Amazonian Clay 12-Hour Blush in Exposed fits the bill perfectly.

The Organic Pharmacy Antioxidant Lip Balm came with this months Elle magazine as part of a trio and you can never have too much lip balm. It's in a squeezy tube so it's easy to apply, sanitary too, none of this dip your finger in a pot malarkey. It's clear, in no way sticky and leaves my lips soft and moisturised. It's an oil consistency and sinks into the lips and keeps them feeling moisturised, even through the night. The key ingredients are Castor Oil, Shea Butter, Beeswax, Cocoa Butter and Honey.

I've been using the Soap & Glory You Won't Believe Your Eyes for the last two weeks and let me tell you, it's fantastic. It cools, soothes, de-puffs, illuminates, moisturises and it feels pretty darn a,along in the early morning. I did a face off between this and the Benefit Ooh La Lift this week so go check it out if you want to see my favourite?

There's going to be a post about this soon but I have been trying out the St Tropez Gradual Tan In Shower this week and so far I am loving it. I started using it Tuesday night, it gave a slight hint of tan, by the second use I was the same colour as my self tan, no streaks, no waiting for two hours and washing it off it just takes 3 minutes whilst you're in the shower and that's it. It's awesome. More on that soon though.

With the weather being so hot last week I needed a dress that would be comfortable and light. What makes it even better is that it was from New Look and was only £9.99. Bargain. I am still loving the sandals too, especially with this dress - well with any dress really.

My TV series this week has been The Flash and it's then caused me to watch some more of The Arrow too. I love that in a few episodes the two shows merge and I just think both shows are really great. If you've already watched both of these, I highly recommend Daredevil too.
