June Favourites

It's monthly favourites time and this month has been a great month. Summer officially started, the sun has been shining and there's been some great products that I've discovered that I wanted to share with you.

But first here's a look into some of this months posts...

June's Glossybox

... I also included a little peek into my sketchbook which seemed to go down really well so if you would like to see that then click here.

There's also my guide to The Best Foundations for the job which you can check out here

This month I got my hands on a Nikon L330 Camera which I've had my eye on for a while and I managed to get it for a great price. The quality of my photos is much better (I hope), and I've really enjoyed taking some snaps, using the different settings and just getting to know it a bit better. So this is definitely one of my favourite things from the month.

Now onto my favourite beauty products...

I have been loving the St Tropez Self Tan Express as it gives such a beautiful yet natural tan without any need for sun damage. Check out tomorrows self tanner tips for more info on this product and some of my other essentials but I love this self tanner and it's the only one I will ever use now.

I am completely obsessed with both of these products individually but when they're used together, oh my they're just out of this world. The Jelly Pong Pong All Over Glow I use as a highlighter and then if I mix it with the Garnier Oil Beauty Lotion I have my very own all over body glow. I've especially been loving this after applying my favourite ever fake tan and the only one I really trust, the St Tropez Self Tan Express which just gives the most natural and beautiful tan ever.

I've been using cream products more and more this month as the weather has got hotter and my two favourite highlighters are the Jelly Pong Pong All Over Glow and the Kryolan Cashmere Highlighter. I just love how they make my skin look glowy but not greasy.

As for concealer the Barry M Light Reflecting Concealer has been my favourite for brightening my under eyes as well as my cheekbones and forehead. I love that it's so natural yet covers a fair amount.

To set that Barry M Concealer, the Laura Mercier Secret Brightening Powder as its light weight but it brightens slightly without looking dry or cakey under the eyes - I also like to apply this wherever I put that concealer.

You're probably sick of seeing these on my blog as they've been in every weekly favourites through the entire month. The Maybelline Master Sculpt Kits have been a regular offering in my everyday makeup. I use the light/medium to bronze up my skin and then the medium/dark as my contour as it's slightly cooler so works better for creating that shadow. Plus, the highlighters are just beautiful.

I've been very into a bronze complexion this month and I just love this Famous Baked Bromzer as it gives the most beautiful bronzey glow. I don't know if you can get this anymore, I'm sure you could find it on Amazon or something but it really is so beautiful that I often use it on my collar bones and chest to continue the bronze glow.

Another cream product now and the Maxfactor Creamy Touch Blush in Soft Pink is always the cream blush that I go back to. The shade is the most perfect, natural pink flush ever and it lasts for ages on the cheeks. I like to apply this with the ELF Small Stippling Brush as it applies the perfect amount of product and then blends out seamlessly. I highly recommend you pick this up if you're looking for a good cream blush.

Pretty much the only eye product I've been using this month is this Rimmel Scandaleyes Eyeshadow Stick in Bluffing which is a perfect shimmery light taupe shade that looks so beautiful all over the lid with the L'Oreal Eyeshadow in Saint Germain looks stunning over this. Perfect everyday combination and I have worn it so much but I still love it, I don't think I will ever get bored of this combo.

I finally got my hands on the Protect & Detangle and the Protect & Oil from the Beauty Protector again, and these are 100% my favourite hair products ever. Seriously. They're both so incredible and they're around the £16 mark each and I am very keen to try out the rest of the line. Okay, so why do I love them? First of all they smell amazing, they make my hair really soft and manageable.

Finally are my skincare favourites and the Simple Vitamin E Face Mist has been a life saver this month as the weather has been so hot that I have been loving to spray this on to freshen up my skin, when I get out of the shower or back from taking my dog for a walk. Even my boyfriend likes to use it, although I think he would deny it.
As for makeup removal, the Simple Micellar Water has been what I've used all month and it does such a great job at removing my makeup and waterproof mascara and all that jazz, without making my skin feel dry and tight. I even trust it on it's own to go to bed after removing my makeup with just this, no cleanser, and it didn't break me out at all. But trust me when I say that that has only happened a couple of times and I don't recommend going to bed without washing every speck of makeup off.

That's it for this months favourites. It's been an incredible month and I am looking forward to Summer being in full force and getting out and enjoying the sun.
