The Weekly Round Up #82

It's been so hot this week, almost unbearable, almost. But there's a few things that I've been using and loving, some new, some old favourites and this is the time where I show you what they are.

I picked these two Real Techniques Brushes from Superdrug at the beginning of the week and I am very impressed with them as I have been with the entire range from RT.

The Expert Face Brush is a well known foundation buffing brush and I think it's incredible at blending in the L'Oreal True Match Foundation (which I am still loving) as well as concealer, and it's also great for cream products like blushers and highlighters.

In the same trip to Boots I also picked up the new Maybelline Glam Bronze which I have been using as an all over bronze glow. I love that this is so versatile and can be used before or after foundation or even mixed in with it, it can be used as a cream bronzer or an all over glow and it just looks very natural.

The Real Techniques Sculpting Brush is great for bronzing up the skin and I've found it works great for this Dream bronze BB but also for powder bronzers too like the Master Sculpt from Maybelline
I have been pairing this with a natural blush too which is the new Bourjois Aqua Blush in 03 Pink Twice which has a very light weight, gel texture to it and feels like water on the skin, yet provides a really pretty, natural flush and is perfect for adding that extra bit of glowy-ness.

My eye combo of the week is the Maybelline On & On Bronze all over the lids, with L'Oreal Cafe Saint Germain shadow over the top and then apply the Maybelline Master Drama Eyeliner in Brown along top and bottom lashes and smudge using a pencil brush. I've also dug out the Too Faced Natural Eyes Palette as I tend to forget about this so I thought it was time to show it some love and I specifically like the transition shades Nude and Cashmere Bunny and the Push-Up and Erotica are stunning shimmery shades that are beautiful shades on their own or together.

With the weather being so hot SPF has been an absolute must and the Soap & Glory Make Yourself Youthful SunShield SuperFluid SPF50 is my favourite for the face as it's light, absorbs fast and doesn't have that sunscreen smell or cause a white cast over the skin.

For the body, I wanted to get a high SPF lotion that wouldn't irritate my skin and the Garnier SPF 50+ was what I chose and I am really pleased with it. Yes I know it's just a sunscreen but I am really happy with it.

Because of the hot weather, I have been using The Body Shop The Vitamin E Facial Mist a lot to refresh my skin, set my makeup, when I get out the shower, as a toner, or just as a face mist when its super hot.

I picked up the Soap & Glory You Won't Believe Your Eyes on a trip to Boots last weekend and it is basically a de-puffing, under-eye bag banishing, soothing moisture serum, and it also has light reflecting particles so it illuminates too. It really is a great product and although I can't comment on the anti-aging side of it, it really does blur fine lines and concealer goes on great over the top.

I know deodorant is a strange thing to have as a favourite but I picked up the Mitchum Deodorant as I wanted one which didn't leave white marks on my clothes and that lasted all day. This ticks both boxes and smells great too.

I purchased these sandals a few years ago from Tesco of all places and I dig them out every year and I am just as in love with them this year, as I was when I bought them. They go with anything, skirts, dresses, shorts, jeans and they just look cute.

This week I have found a new YouTuber/Blogger called Allana Davison and I've been binge watching her videos this week and. Her makeup looks are stunning, she has the best personality I've seen in a YouTuber in a long time and she's just hilarious. If you want to check out her blog click here, her Instagram here and her YouTube channel here

Here's a little peek into some products I've purchased that I will be reviewing on my blog this month so keep your eyes peeled.

What's your favourites for the hot summer weather.
