Beauty Buys To Pick Up If You're Heading To The UK

If you're heading over here to the UK and you want to do some beauty shopping, here's a few brands and products I recommend checking out.

I thought I would stick to drugstore brands in this post as I will be doing a similar kind of thing on more higher end brands. But if you want to see some of my current favourite high end products check out my Top 10 Luxury Beauty Buys.
So, the main drugstores in the UK are Boots and Superdrug but some supermarkets have a beauty section too where many of these brands can be found.

Starting off with Bourjois, this is a brand that was mainly known in the drugstore for their Little Round Pots of Blushers and Eyeshadows, but their complexion products have received top marks the last couple of years. Healthy Mix Serum Foundation, Chocolate bronzing Powder, Happy Light Luminous Primer. They have recently bought out some cream shadows which are the Color Boost Crayons & Eyeliners and they also have Colour Boost Lip Crayons, Their Rouge Edition Velvets and the Aqua Laques are also worth a mention.

Sleek are a brand that just know how to create makeup palettes. Their Contour & Blush Palettes are very popular and I am a massive fan of their Correct & Conceal Palette too. They have such a wide range of products to suit everyone and they're reasonably priced too. If you're a makeup lover, I highly recommend checking the range out at Boots

Barry M Nail Paints are my favourite nail polishes ever (yes I know, big claim but they really are) so anyone who asks me what they should pick up on their travels here I always recommend this brand. The ranges they have are incredible, Quick Dry, Gelly Hi-Shine and their newest range the Sunset Daylight Curing Polishes are possibly my favourites of them all. That's just a few of my favourites otherwise we'll be here all day going through my Barry M collection. I have also been venturing into the brands makeup products too and I have found a few I think are definitely permanent members in my collection now.

Collection is best known for it's Lasting Perfection Concealer which has high coverage and is so affordable it's crazy. But they do have some Eyeshadow Palettes which are definitely worth a look. Hey, check out my review and swatches here if you don't believe me.

I know I mention this brand all the time but it deserves a spot in this round up. Soap & Glory bath and body products are available in other countries, but it seems their makeup and skincare is limited to the UK. I love every skincare product I have tried from the brand so you can check out my favourites here, and for my introduction to S&G click here. But to name a few I love the Archery Brow Pencil, Solar Powder which is a bronzer duo, the Hocus Focus Illuminator is stunning and the Lipsticks and Gloss Sticks are some of the best I've tried. I highly recommend a trip to Boots to check the S & G stand out.

Maxfactor is known as Covergirl in other countries but there are still some products that I haven't seen them do as well as Maxfactor has the Creme Puff Blushes for example are a dupe for the Hourglass Ambient Lighting Blushes which are 5 times the price. Their Mascaras as some of the best from the drugstore and they have some great foundations and lipsticks too, like the Colour Intensifying Balms and their regular lipsticks?? Even their Gel Shine Laquer Nail Polishes are good too.

I hope you find this helpful and if you are heading to the UK let me know what you pick up. Please can you also let me know if you prefer me to link products or reviews I have done and websites that I mention.

What are your favourite beauty products that are only available in the UK?
