The Weekly Round Up #80

This week has been very bronze, summer inspired. I've applied my first fake tan of the summer which I am in love with. Bronzer has been the main focus of my makeup looks this week so there's a couple I thought I just had to mention.

The fake tanner of choice has got to be the St Tropez Self Tan Express. I love this stuff and the tan it gave me this week is the most beautiful, natural tan with no streaks or patchy-ness. I'm so in love with this self tanner - as I was last year when I first tried it) so it just continues to amaze me.

A new thing I've been trying and loving is adding a liquid illuminator into my regular body moisturiser to add a natural glow to the skin and it looks much better when I have fake tan on. My favourites to do this that I've found is the Jelly Pong Pong All Over Glow and the Garnier Oil Beauty Lotion

The Famous Baked Bronzer has been a great product to really add that Sunkissed glow. I also been using it on my collarbones. I like to apply this with the ELF Stippling Brush as this applies an even amount Wight picking up too much product. It just gives a real vice glow to the skin and I can't put into words how beautiful it is. This is a brand I haven't heard much about but I am so glad I have managed to try this. L'Oreal have some new liquid and powder highlighters coming out so I am keen to try those too but for now this is just stunning.

Another bronzer I've been loving is the Maybelline Master Sculpt Bronzer in Light/Medium as its the perfect shade bronzer for my skin tone and I love how it looks and applies with the Real Techniques Limited Edition Cheek Brush which is quite a dense brush yet applies is evenly and it's also a great brush for applying foundation too, it's very versatile and if you can still get your hands on it I recommend you giving it a try.

I pulled out the Maxfactor Creamy Touch Blush in Soft Pink this week as it lasts all day and I love the colour it gives to my cheeks. It's a great drugstore cream blush and I highly recommend it, it never fails or disappoints me and I always go back to it. I love to apply it using the ELF Small Stipple Brush as this applies the product evenly and blends so fast you barely need to do anything. I love to apply cream products with this brush, you have lot's of control without the hassle of applying too much product. Has anyone tried the new Bourjois Aqua Blushers, how beautiful do they look? I can't wait to get my hands on them.

As for concealer, I've been using the Barry M Light Reflecting Concealer to brighten and conceal under the eyes but it's also good to highlight other areas of the face too as its light weight and doesn't get cakey no matter how much you apply. Then I set it with the Laura Mercier Secret Brightening Powder and the ELF Small Tapered Brush (I promise I'm not being sponsored by ELF, I have just been loving some of their brushes this week) as this applies just the right amount of product without looking too powdery. I've been using this to apply the areas I put the concealer and then regular powder on the perimeters of my face and it's just been working for me.

As for hair products, the Beauty Protector Oil is a massive part of my hair routine. I apply this on wet hair, dry hair, before styling or even after styling and it just makes my hair feel so soft and gets rid of any frizz.
