What's in my Travel Bag?

I've been living out of a bag for the last few weeks as I've been back and fourth to my boyfriends house pretty much every weekend or so, so I've got the packing essentials down, and I thought I would hare them with you as I felt like a chatty, chilled post today.

Now, I'm not a light packer, to be honest in the morning I'm due to go, I shove all the makeup I use and my skincare must haves into my bag and hope I haven't forgotten anything. I try and take multi use products to ease the strain on my arm when carrying it to my car but sometimes I just don't care and throw whatever in the bag. Here's what I take if I really think about it and try and pack just the essentials...

Garnier Micellar Water
I dispense this into a smaller bottle to make it easier to travel with.

Oskia Renaissance Cleansing Gel
This removes makeup, refreshes my skin and makes me feel human.

Soap & Glory Super Serum
The newest edition to my skincare routine but my favourite. I use the both morning and night and it does a great job at hydrating and generally making my skin feel amazing.

Soap & Glory Eye Cream
I can use this morning and night for a few days although I prefer to use the Kiehls Avocado Eye Cream at night as it does great things for my dark circles. But the S&G is still great.

Soap & Glory Beauty Sleep Accelerator Moisturiser & Alpha H Liquid Gold
9 times out of 10 I end up staying over on a night that I use the Liquid Gold treatment but on the occasions it's not and I feel I need more than the serum, I like this S&G moisturiser.

Avene TriAcneal
This is an incredible product. Gets rid of spots over night so it's my absolute go to if there's even an inkling of a face demon on its way.

Simple Moisturiser SPF 30
The serum takes care of the hydration side of my skincare so this is just for its sun protection properties.

Benefit Porefessional (travel size) or LoreL Nude Magique Blur Cream
Doesn't just have to be used under foundation but to perfect the skin, smooth it over and provide a base for concealer, especially under the eyes.

Maybelline Instant Age Rewind NYX HD Concealer & Rimmel Lasting Finish Concealer
You probably know by now that this is my dark circle converting combo. The first deals with counteracting the dark tones and the HD concealer is to brighten and conceal anything, but it's also great for covering redness and using on the areas I need it, hence why you don't see a foundation in the mix.
The Lasting Finish Concealer is the perfect one for breakouts or stubborn redness.

Rimmel Lasting Finish Powder
Rather than bringing along a loose powder to set my under eyes and another for my face I just bring this along. It's light enough to use under the eyes and it also provides a teeny tiny bit of coverage for the rest of the face.

Sleek Contour & Blush Palette
This has everyone I need, contour shade, blush and a highlight. Need I say more?

Benefit High Beam
I like to use this whenever I do my makeup, and even when I don't as its so natural and gives a nice glow without looking too much.

Urban Decay Naked Basics 2 Palette
Perfect for the eyes, for a neutral look, there's a darker brown shade in there to use as softer eyeliner, and a taupey, brown shade for the brows but I do can mix in some of the darker shade too.

Maybelline Brow Drama
This can be used on its own for a slight tint and set, but can also be used over the powder.

Kiko Shadow Stick in 06
I wear this pretty much everyday. Either on the outer corner, all over the lid or under the lower lash line so this comes everywhere with me.

Barry M Black Liner
I can't live a day without lining my top and bottom waterline and this is my current favourite. If I can't be bothered to do the whole shebang I use the liner on my top lashline and then throw on some mascara and leave it there.

Maybelline Lash Sensational Mascara
My mascara of choice, does a beautiful thing to my lashes and also works great on my lower lashes.

Maxfactor Colour Intensifying Balm & Bourjois Rouge Edition Aqua Laque
A tinted lip balm, great for natural makeup days, can't be bothered to apply a bold lip as no one likes to have to check their makeup every 5 minutes or get lipstick on your date.

I hope you liked today's post and let me know what your travel essentials are.

    1. I love the naked basics palettes, especially the second one, it's perfect for brows, eyeliner, eyeshadow and even contouring if you're really strapped for space. You should definitely pick one up :)
