The Weekly Round Up #75

08:00

It's that time again already, weekly round up time. This week has gone pretty darn fast actually which is always good as its my weekend off but today I'm going to share with you a few products that I've been using non stop this week. If you missed any posts from this week then you can see them here, here and here

I picked up a couple of the new Bourjois ColourBand Eye Crayons in the shades Brun Dada├»ste which is a bronze shimmery shade and I also got Mauve Baroque which isn't one of my usual shades but it really appealed to me. It's a purple mauve kind of shade and although it has quite a lot of shimmer in it, it's really great as a base or on its own as an all over the lid colour. They're super creamy, and pigmented and once they set they stay put. They're smudge proof, waterproof, don't transfer and it says 24 hours which although I haven't worn them for that long, I've swatched them on my hand and it takes a scrubbing brush and som serious elbow grease to get them off.

I managed to get my hands on the Tarte Tartelette Palette which is such a beautiful matte eyeshadow palette. I first use Super Mom as a brow bone highlight, Power Player in the crease and smudged along the lower lashline, Multi-tasker on the outer corner and on lower lashline to deepen everything up a bit - to do this I've been using this Flat Shadow Brush that is perfect for defining the lower lashline...

I've been going for a much more sultry eye this week and I've really been digging it. Finally I use Fashionista as an eyeliner, either smudged along the top lashes or to create a more precise and clean liner, either way it's a great dark black. Plus, look at the beautiful packaging.

I've been loving the The EcoTools Blending Brush (travel size) to blend out the shadows to make them look seamless as its so fluffy and big that it blends everything out perfectly.

You may have noticed there is no lid colour included from the Tarte palette as the L'Oreal Color Riche L'Ombre Eyeshadow in 201 Nude is a beautiful taupe, bronze shade which just looks stunning. L'Oreal Eyeshadows are such great quality, these can be used dry or wet to increase the pigmentation and let me tell you I love this shadow so much, especially with the Real Techniques Base Shadow Brush which just blends it really well whilst still packing the shadow on giving it a seamless finish. Definitely my favourite out of all the eyeshadows I'm trying. I also picked up the shade Cameleon which looks absolutely stunning in the pan, look at that beauty...

...this is an ivory/bone kind of shade which has a beautiful iridescence to it that when hits the light it sparkles pink and purple. It's great as an inner corner highlight.

I've been loving this Benefit Roller Lash Mascara this week. I've abandoned it recently but I picked it back up this week and I cannot recommend enough. I still haven't tried the They're Real yet for the main reason that it's a biatch to take off apparently so I just chicken out everytime I see it in my makeup stash.

Milani Baked Blush in Dolce Pink is a pigmentd SOB but frankly it's darn amazing. It gives a beautiful sheen, lovely flush of colour and lasts all day on the cheeks. It really adds a healthy luminosity to the skin.

I haven't tried many products from this brand but when I saw the W7 Bronze & Glow Duo which looks incredibly similar to the Charlotte Tilbury Bronze & Glow which is a heck of a lot more expensive than this one. I didn't expect huge things from this but the highlighter is absolutely stunning. The bronze shade is very shimmery, but is light enough for my fair skin but looks very orange toned.

I know I had a makeup bag in last weeks favourites but I went into my local Superdrug and came across this and just had to pick it up. It's so beautiful, perfect size and I love the colours. Plus it fits a tonne of stuff in it.

You may have seen last weeks round up where I showed you my birthday gifts that I was so lucky to get, so this week I've been wearing the Marc Jacobs Daisy Dream Perfume (that my eldest brother got me) which has such beautiful packaging, I love the bottle. But the fragrance itself is very spring appropriate and completely different to the scents I've been wearing over the last year or so. I've also dug out the Daisy Eau So Fresh Perfume which my brother also brought me last year for Christmas. They're only the small sizes but they're still beautiful bottles and last a decent amount of time. There are lots of different variations of this fragrance including Honey, Dot, Delight, Sorbet and Lola and I'm keen to give those a try too, and they would look so pretty all stood together along my dressing table or something.

I also got this stunning Pia Watch which has a nude leather strap with rose gold details and it's very simple and classic, goes with any outfit and any occassion and generally just looks beautiful.

I hope you're all having a great weekend so far and that where ever you are the sun is shining. Enjoy the rest of your weekend.

What is your favourite spring/summer fragrance?
