The Weekly Round Up #69

This week has been another great one. It's officially spring, I've been trying lots of new products and I'm just really happy. Here's some of the things I've been loving this week.

Up first is the L'Oreal Infalliable 24hr Matte Foundation applied with the Real Techniques Multi Task Brush, which is my base of choice this week. Not my usual complexion pick but I've heard so many great things about it and after I found out the finish was more natural and not completely matte, I thought I would give it a shot. The shade range sucks, 6 shades and the lightest shade suits my skin as long as it's blended in properly, but against my other foundations it's a lot darker. I like to use the Real Techniques Multi Task Brush to apply this as its a great size, soft and fluffy and blends foundation in quickly and gives a decent coverage. Plus, it's medium to full coverage which is perfect to cover my redness, freckles and blemishes.

There's a lip combo this week that I have been obsessed with. First I apply the Rimmel Lip Liner in East End Snob all over the lips and then the Bourjois Rouge Edition Aqua Laque in Rosé on the Rocks over the top. It's a great combination for everyday wear. With the lip liner, it lasts a lot longer and it doesn't dry out my lips. The shade of this new Aqua Laque is so beautiful, it's the perfect pinky nude that I am drawn to recently. I've picked up another shade called Fuchsia Perché which I've worn a coule of times and love it. Check out my review and swatches of these here.

If you saw this weeks Monday Mani, you will know I am obsessed with the Maybelline Color Show Nail Polish in Fuchsia Petal. I've worn this all week and I am still so in love with the shade.

Another new product I picked up in my most recent beauty haul is the CoLab Dry Shampoo from the lovely Ruth Crilly. I really like that they have an extreme volume formula and although it leaves a slight white cast, it's not as bad as previous I've tried. They also do a sheer invisible dry shampoo too. The scents of both of these are delightful.

Don't think I've included an iPhone case in my weekly favourites, but I am loving this rosey gold case I purchased from H&M

Tv show this week is Elementary. A modern day Sherlock Homes and Dr Watson helping out the NYPD. The way he thinks, how he uses deductions to follow and solve crime is just mind blowing. It really is incredible and I highly recommend watching the first episode, you'll be hooked, trust me.

Hope this week has been as good for you as it has for me, and let me know what your favourite things have been from this month.

Did anyone do any good April Fool's pranks?

    1. I have the fairest one and it's still slightly too dark and I have to make sure to blend it out really well, so anyone paler than me wouldn't be able to use it which sucks and is common with drugstore foundations, don't you think?
