April's Birchbox

This months Birchbox was themed around Royally Good which is basically all about the royal baby. This month they did something which is pretty awesome I think. Birchbox sent out pink and blue boxes with pink and blue products in them, and they're basically giving their subscribers a chance to win a bumper beauty bundle with up to £500 worth of beauty products. On the announcement of the royal baby's sex, which ever colour wins, the subscribers who entered and had that colour box will get the beauty bundle full of products matching the sex of the baby. For more info go over to Birchbox and see if you can enter. Anywho, onto the products inside this box.

1. I've never tried one of the Laura Mercier eyeliners before but this is such a beautiful shade, it's. Really bright royal blue and although not as creamy as I would have liked, I'm sure I can make it work. I can use it as a winged liner on the top lashes or as a pop of colour on the lower lashline. I might do a post on how to wear colour on your eyes so if you would like to see that then let me know. But when I swatched this on my hand and left it there for 5 minutes, it wouldn't come off, it didn't even smudge so I have high hopes for this eyeliner.

2. I love pink nail polishes and this time of year is where the perfect time to rock bright nails. This colour makes me happy whenever I see my nails with it on and this particular polish has some vice shimmer running through it which is slightly different than my other ones.

3. I'm a massive fan of hair oils as you may know and this one sounded incredibly interesting. The actual name of this is the Smoothed, Sealed & Sensational Volumising No Oil Oil, but I didn't want to put all of that on the photo as you wouldn't have been able to see the product. Jeez Louise cut your product names down. Keen to use this and the scent is really strong but would be really nice in small doses.

4. I love this product, I love that they're included the muslin cloth in with it as well as they're awesome, and it's perfect to take to the boyfriends house rather than my other full size cleansers and makeup removers. This stuff is awesome and so is the other Liz Earle products I've tried, and they're pretty affordable so go check them out if you haven't tried them already.

5. Multi purpose ointments and balms are a great thing to keep in your handbag, on your desk at work or on your dressing table or night stand as they come in handy for so many different things. This one smells very natural but when I squeezed the tube there was barely any product in it which isn't good but when I finally managed to get some out it made my skin feel really smooth and lovely so this will be in my handbag at all times.

6. I can imagine Birchbox getting some stick for including this in a subscription box. These tablets are food supplements. That doesn't mean you take these and don't eat anything, these are meant for energy release but they also have vitamins and ingredients in there to reduce tiredness and fatigue, regulate your blood sugar levels and help to regulate muscle function. DO NOT TAKE THESE IN PLACE OF FOOD!! You still need to eat as normal.

Hope you enjoyed this months Birchbox. Let me know if you have tried any of these products or would like to try them and if you have any recommendations for any products then please let me know in the comments or on my social media. Thanks for reading.
