Drugstore Dupes #4

I have another drugstore dupe for you today folks and we're talking all about blusher.

Now as you may have seen on these parts before, I am a massive fan of the Hourglass Ambient Lighting Blushes and after I used them non stop for a few months, you can imagine my surprise when I picked up the Maxfactor Creme Puff Blushes and found they are incredibly similar. Awesome right? Right.

The ALB's are marbled with the beautiful powders (which I also love) so there's no sign of any shimmer or glitter, it's all in the powder and it just gives a beautiful radiant look with a hint of colour.
As for the CPB's they do have a hint of shimmer and although they are marbled, it's with a slightly lighter pink colour. Both have quite a few shades, all very wearable and so pigmented that if choosing one randomly or blindfolded, you probably wouldn't know the difference when applying and once on the cheeks.

Hourglass Ambient Lighting Blushes

The Ambient Lighting Blushers are soft focus, lightweight and pigmented, but they're expensive at £28 a pop (or £56 for the limited edition palette).
There's 6 shades:
Diffused Heat
Dim Infusion
Ethereal Glow
Luminous Flush *
Mood Exposure *
Radiant Magenta
Incandescent Light *
All of which give the most beautiful glow and make the face look flawless and it lasts all day. But if you want to see the reviews I have done on both the blushers and powders from Hourglass then check them out here and here.

Maxfactor Creme Puff Blushes

Onto the Creme Puff Blushers now and I have become very attached to these and use them on a daily basis, have done since I first purchased them. For £8.99, buying more than one of these little pots of awesomeness is perfectly affordable and for the pigmentation, lasting power, beautiful texture and shade range they're worth so much more. Speaking of shades:
Lovely Pink *
Alluring Rose
Gorgeous Berries *
Seductive Pink *
Lavish Mauve
Nude Mauve *
Unlike the ALB's, these have shimmer in them and although it can't really be seen on the skin, they provide an absolutely beautiful glow to the skin with a natural flush.

So there we go. Another drugstore dupe for you there, and one that I hope you all take full advantage of and check out these beautiful products.
