Monday Mani #27

After last weeks Monday Mani I thought I would give you a little insight into my small collection of the Maybelline Color Show Nail Polishes as I'm a massive fan and cannot recommend them enough.

The polishes themselves are quite runny and sheer, and Maybelline says they're a transparent gel formula. have to put two coats on to get the desired opacity. However the lighter shades are perfect for an everyday, sheer polish. Perfect if you're not supposed to be wearing nail polish. But what I love about these polishes the most are taken directly from trends on the catwalk straight to our drugstores and with seasonal updates, you can always be on trend.

I have the shades...

Blackout // Urban Turquoise // Noite de Gal // Lavender Lies // Maybe Blue

Pink Punk (vinyl) // Fuchsia Petal // Pink Boom // Coral Craze // Orange Attack // Latte

...and all formulas and shades I've tried have been consistently brilliant in vibrancy, application and opacity. They're just beautiful.

There are a tonne of shades on the line and they continue to bring out new collections with additional polishes and finishes. They have glitters to vinyls to a shredded finish and the brush makes it quick and easy to apply with no mess or fuss. What more could you ask for? Although they say they're chip resistant, I don't tend to find they last any longer than the Barry M Polishes for example but I like to switch my nail colour so it's not a massive issue.

Best of all they're affordable at £2.99 each which is crazy yet totally awesome and if I'm looking for a particular shade I go to the Barry M stand and the Maybelline stand and I'm never disappointed.

What do you think of these polishes? Any particular shades you prefer?
