The Weekly Round Up #67

I hope you enjoyed Spring Edit Week this week. It's officially spring and the clocks change soon too, which means lighter evenings and hopefully a change in the weather which I am super excited for.

This week I've been enjoying the makeup I have, not trying anything new, just introducing some oldies but goodies into my everyday makeup routine. I've had a clear out of my makeup collection so there's more room (to buy even more makeup) but I've been using some of my forgotten products and loving them.

This week I've been using a combination of products that I've really been enjoying the look of. First is the Laura Mercier Silk Creme Foundation with the Rimmel Lasting Finish Nude Powder which still lets the glow of the Soap & Glory Hocus Focus which is a beautiful illuminating primer come through. I apply the foundation with the Real Techniques Buffing Brush and the powder with the Real Techniques Blush Brush as they both give the perfect coverage without looking too cakey or over done.

My cheek combo of the week is the NYX Blush in Taupe as a contour shade, and the Maxfactor Creme Puff Blush in Seductive Pink as my blusher/highlighter. I've been loving this duo as it helps sculpt my face as well as make it look nice and healthy and radiant. I've also been loving this Angled Blush Brush to apply the CPB, and the Real Techniques Contour Brush for the chisel out those cheek bones.

For the eyes, the Kiko Long Lasting Stick Eyeshadows have been the perfect everyday eye combo when I've been going for something quick and simple.
The Soap & Glory Arch De Triumph Highlighter as been great at really opening up my tired eyes. The Collection Eyes Uncovered Nude Palette is such an incredible drugstore palette and I've been loving it to add some depth into any look. I especially like it for under the lashline.

The L'Oreal Rouge Caresse Lipsticks in Aphrodite Scarlett will set you back £7.99 but it's worth every penny. I've done a review on these when I first started my blog but the short version is that they're sheer lipsticks, still very pigmented and give a hint of colour. I wouldn't say they were very moisturising but they leave a stain on your lips so wearing off or anything like that is not a concern I have. I have some other shades, a nude, coral and a red which I'm sure will be getting used a lot in Spring.

The tv series I've been watching constantly this Supernatural which I have to say is a great show. There's about 10 series online but I'm only just scratching the surface of season 2. Sleepy Hollow is also a great series and so is falling skies so if you are looking for a new series, I highly suggest those too.
