A Quick Drugstore Haul

So you guys seem to really like hauls, especially if it's drugstore so I hope you like today's haul.
I did a bit of damage in Boots over the weekend as I found some great products at the drugstore that were on offer so I couldn't say no to an offer could I? If my calculations are correct, about 50% of this haul was free.

First from Maybelline I repurchased the Master Drama Kohl Eyeliner in Black as I think it's an awesome eyeliner and stays all day. I also picked up their new Lash Sensational Mascara which I've been hearing so many things about. I actually mainly bought it because I wanted to see if the brush was similar to the new Benefit Roller Lash because although I love that mascara, I'm not paying £20+ for the full size so I'm trying to find a drugstore alternative. I've tried it a couple of times me the brush isn't similar to the Roller Lash but I still really like the shape of it but will keep trying it.

I then passed by the Collection stand and found one of their new Eyes Uncovered Nude Eyeshadow Palette so I grabbed one as it was only £2.99 and it's a really great palette. There are two matte shades and 4 shimmers which are really nice, basic colours that would be great for travel. Plus, for a £2.99 palette the shadows are really pigmented and easy to blend so I'm keen to play with that some more.

I also came across the Barry M Chisel Cheek Contour Kit which I was really surprised at because these contour kits have been coming out in the masses from loads of brands, but I've not seen any in the drugstore other than this one which is great but I'm sure there will be soon. Plus, the shades look perfect so will keep you updated on that one too.

Onto Rimmel and I've been eyeing up their new Lasting Finish Nude 25hr Foundation as I've heard some really great things about it. I picked up the shade Ivory but it's slightly too dark so I end up swapping it for the paler shade light porcelain (shown above). I also found their Lasting Finish Powder Foundation in 001 Light Porcelain so I picked that up too as it has some coverage but I want to try it on its own as well, see how good the coverage is. I am guessing I'll use it to set foundation but thought it grab a new powder as I don't tend to use them everyday but I was keen to give these both a try and do a review on them. Plus they were £10 in total which is pretty darn good considering they were about £15 full price.
I picked up the Match Perfection Concealer from Rimmel to as I never ended up repurchasing last time I ran out even though I really liked it so I've picked it up again and I'm sure you'll see it in posts along with all of these products over the next few weeks.

Onto Maxfactor and they're becoming my favourite brand from the drugstore at the minute. I picked up another one of the Creme Puff Blush in Nude Mauve as I saw this and was drawn to it. It's a nice peachy pink, mauve kind of shade that is suitable paired every all kinds of makeup looks.
They had an offer where you spend £15 on Maxfactor and you get a free gift so I picked up the Maxfactor Clump Defy Mascara as I've been wanting to try it for a while now anyway.
The free gift included the Maxfactor GlossFinity Nail Polish in Pink'ed, Lipstick in Star Dust Pink and False Lash Effect 24hr Mascara. I didn't mean to get 3 mascaras in one shopping trip but nevermind. The lipstick is such a beautiful pinky nude shade and after getting a free gift before with the red lipstick in it I know the formula is great so I'm excited to wear this. I like the GlossFinity forumlas, I'm not 100% keen on the colour as its a pale peach apricot shade so don't know if it will suit my skin tone but I will give it a try. Maybe something suitable for spring and summer.

Finally is a few Soap & Glory products that I actually ordered online but I purchased as part of the 3 for 2 offer the Hocus Pocus Illuminator, the DIY Brow Bar (which was broken when I opened it so I've returned it) and I also bought the Solar Powder in its compact. I have it in a palette with a highlight and blush but it's just easier in a compact and it's a really great shade, even for us pale skin girls. Plus, that purple on the S&G is only an overspray, rub your finger or brush over it and it comes off leaving just bronzey goddess goodness.

Here's a sneak peak into what is coming on Monday for Monday Mani #25...

There we go. There's some of my recent purchases. Let me know if you have tried any of these products and I will be sure to let you know about any reviews and looks coming up on any of these products.

Have you tried any of these products? Or maybe have some drugstore recommendations?

** Disclaimer - I purchased all of these items with my own money. A few of the products actually came free with my purchases due to special offers and some I paid using my points, but all were purchased by me.
