Makeup Brush Guide

It's the second post in this weeks Drugstore Week and today we're talking brushes. These are my favourite brushes to use, Real Techniques, I use these everyday and I wanted to give you a quick run down of what each brush can be used for, and a quick review about the brand as a whole. If you want to take a look at the brushes RT have to offer, click here

Buffing Brush // Setting Brush // Multi-task Brush // Contour Brush // Duo-Fibre Face Brush //

Accent Brush // Eyeliner Brush // Domed Shadow Brush // Base Shadow Brush // Detailer Brush //

Cheek Brush // Duo-Fibre Contour Brush // Delux Crease Brush // Angled Shadow Brush //

Some of the brushes come in collections, others individually and prices start from £5.99 up to £29.99. They've recently launched their new Bold Metals collection which look stunning, and they retail for £10 up to £24. So still pretty good price for quality brushes.

There are a few other brushes that I have but I don't use them all that often which is why I haven't included them, but they are:
Powder Brush // Blush Brush // Essential Foundation Brush // Pointed Foundation Brush // Duo-Fibre Eye Brush.

The Real Techniques brushes really are an incredible collection, there's something to suit everyone, and what's even better is that they are so affordable, if you're a beginner, you could get for example the core collection and you would have the brushes you need to do a full face of makeup. These brushes wash really well, they don't shed and they still look as good as new. I spot clean my brushes after I've applied my makeup (if I remember) and then I give them a deep clean once or twice a month (again, if I remember).

What's your favourite brush from Real Techniques??
