January Glossybox

08:00

This months theme? Fresh Start Must HavesAll full size products were included in this months Glossybox and it was about time too. I am really pleased with this box. I like the theme, I think they've done a great job choosing the products and I hope that this standard will be in future boxes.

MeMeMe Eye Line Pencil in Clay | £4
Brown eyeliner pencil which isn't supposed to drag or pull on the waterline. I haven't tried this on my eyes yet but from switching it, it feels very creamy, it's easy to blend and it's pretty darn pigmented. Excited to give this a try. The MeMeMe brand is one I've tried a few things from and most of them have been pretty good.

Nicka K New York Colorluxe Powder Blush | €8.95
A great concept is the first thing I wanted to say about this. I've got a stamp blush from Seventeen but I love how this is a loose, beautiful shade blusher without the mess and faff of a loose blusher.
First Impressions? Packaging is cute, simple and easy to use. Doesn't apply too strong to the cheeks either and lasts a decent amount of time.

Jelly Pong Pong All Over Glow | £10
Unlike other products, this was only half full with product. Maybe it's the packaging, maybe it's Glossybox, but only half a tube of product, especially for a tenner is a bit stingy.
First impressions? However, the product it's self is lovely and right up my ally. This is a brightening, gel formula illuminator, and the gel part makes it great for problematic skin. The difference between this and other illuminators, is that this isn't full of chunky shimmer particles, but instead they say it's packed with micronised pearlescent pigments that catch the light and givie a radiant glow to the complexion. FYI I agree with all of that. Texture is great for this kind of product too. Strange name though, Jelly Pong Pong never heard of it before.

Kueshi Natural & Pleasant Cosmetics Revitalizing Face Toner | €10.70
Toner is a great middle step to anyone's skincare routine. This one is said to have soothing and balancing properties and also has the ability to rehydrate. Calendula, Chamomile and Aloe Vera are what calm and rehydrate the skin. It gives a boost of hydration, refreshes the skin but gets to work on the problem areas, soothing and calming irritated skin and redness. It doesn't have an obnoxious scent and it's Paraben free. Can't wait to try it.

Naked Lips Organic Lip Balm Superfruits | €5
First impressions? Really nice balmy texture, not too hard. Smells nice, applies on the lips smooth and creamy and lasts for a pretty good time. I like that it's sanitary in a stick form and is a decent price. I can definitely see this becoming a favourite. It has 100% natural ingredients and 97% is organic.

This is what I love about these subscription boxes. If it wasn't for Glossybox and Birchbox, a lot of the products I love were introduced to me by these monthly boxes. From hair to makeup to skincare. It's amazing and although they aren't consistent in the quality of what they put in the boxes, there are some gems in there which I use regularly.

Have you ever tried any of these brands/products before?
