The Weekly Round Up #54

08:00

This week was pretty good. I've had it off work so I've got lots of things done. I also went to our teams Christmas meal which was really good and I had the best profiteroles ever. Amazing. But here's my favourites that I've been loving over the last week.

First up is actually an app I discovered this week which is Hootsuite. It's basically an app to pre schedule tweets and Facebook posts. Which has come in handy for when I'm scheduling blog posts as I can do this at the same time. Plus, I don't always have the time to upload something on Instagram or I forget as I tend to pre schedule posts. Unfortuantely you can't schedule Instagram posts but it's still pretty amazing for Twitter and Facebook

Next is an album I have been obsessed with which is 1989 from the amazing Taylor Swift. I've never really been a "Swiftie" before but I've been loving the album and I listen to it all the time. Blank space is of course one of my favourites but there are some amazing songs on there.

My Netlix TV series that I'm watching is Person of Interest. It's a great series about a millionaire tech geek who invents "The Machine" that spies on everyone, and he hires Mr Reese i.e the tough guy, to help him and prevent people from getting killed or killing someone. It's a great story line and I just love Harold the millionaire (or maybe billionaire) he buys companies just so he can get his guy into an interview and even to get his credit rating up. It's an incredible series and highly recommend. Plus, if anyone is a fan of Fringe and has been waiting for series 5, it is now available on Netflix. If you haven't watched any of the other seasons, it's amazing and I love it.

The Bourjois Volume Glamour Max Holidays Waterproof Mascara has been pretty much the only one I've used this week (although I have only worn makeup about 3 days of the week as I've been off work). It gives amazing volume and this is only a sample size, but I will definitely be picking up the full size if they have it. Plus it's waterproof and it's incredible at holding a curl and it takes a few go's to get it off so it's very long lasting.

I've had some new Real Techniques Brushes sent to me this week and they're the Travel Essentials Kit. There's a Essential Foundation Brush, Multi Task Brush and a Domed Shadow Brush. I've been wanting to try the multi task brush for a long time and I'm so excited. It's a great brush and is perfect for any cream or powder products.

I've been really amping up the glow this week as it's been minimal makeup, or for work Christmas lunch so the L'Oreal Lumi Magique has had a huge part to play in that and I am in love with how it looks in the skin.

Then there's the Kyolan Cashmere Highlighter which is one of my favourite products from Glossybox this year. This is a great shade for my pale skin, it's creamy and easy to work with. I actually apply this with the tip of my Beauty Blender and it looks amazing. Highly recommend it as it's not too expensive.

Next is this beautiful Sophia Webster for Birchbox Purse which is a beautiful print and colour. I love this for going into small bags and clutches or even just into my pocket. My main purse which is my Radley one is so heavy and packed full of so much junk. Love this, think it's great quality and you will see it in my December Birchbox.

Finally is a liquid eyeliner that I purchased from a store on Amazon and it's a Korean product (I believe). First if all, the packaging is gorgeous, and although the formula is quite wet and runny, it's very black, and very easy to use. Although the handle is quite big, it's the perfect weight to make applying winged liner super easy and fast. Plus it was under a fiver. If I can find the link, click HERE

That's it for this weeks round up. Next week is Christmas and I am so excited. I have t got my Christmas shopping even half way finished yet but hopefully over the next few days I will.

Are you ready for Christmas?
