The Weekly Round Up #53

08:00

I've been so excited about Christmas this week and have been busy getting festive and putting the tree up...

... And I've also done a get ready with me for a Christmas party kind of thing on my blog which I really enjoyed creating. Here's a sneak peak...

... But you should go and check out all 3 posts - click HERE for nails, HERE for makeup, and HERE for the outfit. Now let's get in to the weekly round up.

Starting off with something that is now going to be a tradition for me (until I don't have any more room for them). Whilst putting in an order for a few bits from The Body Shop, somehow, this little fella managed to escape and now is keeping mister gingerbread man happy (from last years Christmas range). A formal announcement is most definitely needed. Bob, this is IABT, IABT, this is Bob. Isn't he adorable.

I'm trying out a few products from The Body Shop's new Wild Argan Oil line and I've been really loving the shower gel, body scrub and the body butter. I have some others that I'm currently trying but these are my favourites already and I've not been using them that long. It's Argan oil based so it's obviously very nourishing and the body butter is a lot thicker and more moisturising than the other ones I've tried. I've only got mini sizes and when I've finished those, I will definitely go pick up the full sizes. Especially of these particular products.

We're still on The Body Shop with the Aloe Protective Serum. I've used the serums before from the other skincare ranges and they're great quality and very gentle on the skin. I've seen a few people talking about this one and I thought it would be great especially as it's pretty much winter in the UK now so wanted to add that extra layer of moisturising goodness to my skin. It's a great formula, nice and lightweight and doesn't interfere in my makeup what so ever. That's it for The Body Shop products now.

Now for the Liz Earle Brightening Treatment. I mentioned this last week and I've been using it and I'm really loving it. It's so quick and simple and it makes my skin look really nice afterwards. I still really like the clay mask but I've been mainly using this one this week.

I've been using the Lorac Pro Palette every time I wear makeup this week and I wanted to give a quick shout out to the shade "Pewter". This is the perfect shade to deepen up the crease and although I haven't worn it all over my eye lid yet, I just know how amazing it is. I've been using "Nude" and "Cream" on the inner half of the eye, then "Taupe" in the crease and outer corner, and then I go over that with "Pewter". I've only worn this look this week and I think it's so pretty yet simple and easy to do. Highly recommend this palette in general though.

Finally is yet again, the English Laundry No7 Rollerball. I had to pick this up from the Birchbox website and I've been wearing it everyday and obsessed is an understatement. It's so delicious smelling and I've had so many compliments on it. Definitely will be getting the full size soon. However the rollerball is handy for your bag but also it is more potent as it's not sprayed everywhere, just where you've applied it, which I normally do behind my ears (so when I flip my hair there's a waft of the perfume) on my wrists and at at the bottom of my neck. I love it and it's definitely my signature scent for this winter.

That's it for this weeks favourites. You should definitely go and check out the Christmas Party posts I've done this week and let me know what you think.

P.s. I've been working on my 2014 favourites posts that will be going up December 31st and then January 1st and 2nd. There's just so many products that I've been loving this year that I just can't narrow it down. So it's going to be a toughie but I'm going to try my best to only show you my absolute favourites from the year.

Are you excited for Christmas?
