Decembers Glossybox

Last month was a very disappointing box, and I always really look forward to the themed boxes as they often have some brilliant picks in there. So here's what was in this months Christmas box.

Bellapierre Cosmetics Cheek & Lip Stain
I've received something from this brand before and I still haven't used it as it's not something I was that amazed by so when I saw this I wasn't too sure what I would think. This is in a coral shades which isn't a colour I tend to use as I just don't like the look of it with my skin tone. It's a cheek and lip stain but those often only work the best on one or the other so I may give this a try but wouldn't be till the summer anyway.

Tresemme Renewal Hair & Scalp Nourish & Renew Tonic
What a random thing to put in a Christmas themed box? This has tea tree extract and sunflower seed oil, it's supposed to "nourish your hair and scalp and repair by nourishing at the surface cellular level and the result is a well balanced, refreshed scalp". It says you're supposed to use this after you've washed your hair while it's still wet and then do whatever you normally do to your hair. But with sunflower seed oil I'm not too sure how that's going to work and not leave it greasy but I'll give it a go.

Anatomicals Zap! Zap! Zap! Gets that chap. Day & Night Spot Stick
Again, not something that is very Christmassy but nevermind. The few products I have tried from this brand after getting it in a subscription box have all been nice products and I like the idea of this in that there's a treatment you can apply during the day, I assume under makeup to help reduce the size of a spot during the day. I'm was really excited to try this as it looks like something The Body Shop have (I'm pretty sure it's that brand) but when I took out it the box, it was broken and one side had snapped and so couldn't be done up or anything so I'm pretty pissed about that really. But nothing will beat my Avene TriAcneal that I've used for months and months anyway.

All That Jazz Professional Nail Lacquer
Here is the only product in the box which is even kind of Christmas related and that is a red glitter nail polish. It's not just a top coat it has a red base to it and then lots of glitter going through it so this may be something that would look awesome for a Christmas party or something.

Skin Prep Hydra Boost Pure Hylaruonic Acid Serum
Finally is this little tube which feels half empty. They say this is a perfume free, alcohol free, hypo allergenic formula which will promote a healthy new skin glow. Hylaruonic acid is used for hydration as it retains a 1000 times it own weight in water so a serum with this in means your moisturiser will be absorbed and will sink in a lot better and it is especially good for dehydrated or dry skin, which I am prine to nowadays so I may give this a go. I've never heard of the brand and as a serum I guess the tube isn't that small but we shall see. Nothing too exciting.

I was really looking forward to this months box but I'll be honest, I'm not that impressed. The spot zapper that was broken wash credibly annoying but the nail polish is the only thing I'm really looking forward to trying but otherwise, I don't thinks it's Christmas themed at all, other than the box and packaging.

So I'm going to be looking for a new subscription box. I'll keep this running for now along with Birchbox but a new subscription is needed so if you have any other recommendations then please do let me know.

Have you tried any of these products?
