A Weekend Post: The Weekly Round Up #43

It's nearly the end of Autumn Edit Week, so I really hope you have enjoyed it. There's one more post left tomorrow so make sure you check that out. But today it's time for a round up of my favourite things from the week.

I've been really pleased with my skin recently and it's been pretty good, a few breakouts here and there but that's nothing compared to how it used to be. But anyway, I was a bit anxious to add something in to my routine and although I had been trying out the Simple Moisturiser SPF30, my skin wasn't being it's usual self so I decided to go back to a radiance boosting, brightening kind of moisturiser and so I have been trying the Superfacialist by Una Brennan Vitamin C+ Skin Defence Daily MoistusierSo far I really like this. I haven't seen massive results yet, but I have high hopes so I will keep you posted on that.

I've also been using Rose Water a lot this week as a facial spritz or as a refresher through the day and I've been loving it. There are so many benefits to using Rose water on your skin (post will be coming soon). Plus, it smells amazing.

Onto makeup now and at the beginning of the week I picked up the NYX Dewey Finish Setting Spray, I have tried it before and really liked it but never repurchased so I bought it from a seller on eBay and I've been loving it. I wanted it more for the setting makeup qualities rather than the dewey finish so that is just a bonus. But I've been liking it so far.

I also made another purchase for the cult favourite Tarte 12 hr Amazonian Clay Blush in Exposed. The Tarte blushers have been on my wishlist for a very long time and I finally found a really good deal and decided to go for it. I also picked up Dollface which is another one of this weeks favourites. I just love these blushers. They're pigmented, blendable, easy to apply, last forever, and are stunning shades. I love these, which is kind of a bad thing because it means I'll want and buy more and they're not exactly cheap. They are just so pretty and so amazing and I cannot stop looking at how amazing they look on my cheeks.

This Silver Hearts Necklace has been pretty much the only necklace I've worn this week, other than ones I have layered with it. I love how simple and dainty it is and it was super affordable online.

The nail polish I have been wearing to transition myself into autumn is O.P.I Taupe-less beach nail polish. It's a very neutral, toned down shade compared to my normal nail picks, but this is such a stunning, chic, sophisticated yet simple nail polish and I am a huge fan of O.P.I. nail polishes on general. If you haven't already seen my nail polish picks for autumn, then go check it out, it was day 1 of this weeks theme, Autumn Edit. I have picked up some new autumn inspired nail polishes which I wanted to share in this post but I think I will save them for another day and some awesome Monday Mani's so you don't want to miss it.

Finally is these boots from New Look. On a casual browse, I found these boots and fell in love. I remember a few years ago. I refused to wear boots and when I finally caved, I couldn't find any I liked and it took me all winter, and half way into spring before I found a pair I liked but by that time it was getting warmer. So I now have two pairs, these ones, and this other pair which I picked up from Primark. There is a similar style to this in New Look though but these ones were cheaper. So I am set for autumn and winter now as far as boots are concerned.

I picked up some more Japonesque Eyelash Curlers from Beauty Bay and although the huge box was slightly bashed up when it landed on my doorstep, they were in pristine condition. But I just love them and find them so much easier than the other, death trap ones, so my eyelash game is back and in full force. Yay.

I love finishing products off and this week I finished off my Aveeno Positively Radiant Moisturiser (which I've already repurchased) La Roche-Posay Serozinc and I'm also very very close to finishing the Alpha H Liquid Gold which seemed like it would never end, but it finally has, which shows how much I love It. I don't think I will be picking it up straight away although my skin has been really good since I have stuck to a routine, but I guess I will see what my skin does, and try and use the other exfoliating toners I have, from the likes of Clarins and Boots Botanics.
La Roche Posay Serozinc is a total pain in the butt to get hold of in the UK and I finished my bottle at the beginning of the week and the delivery was so fast and I got it by Wednesday which is amazing, I use a buyer in eBay so go check it out there if you want to pick this up. I highly recommend it.
