A Weekend Post: The Weekly Round Up #42

It's the weekend!!!!! Which means it's time for another weekly roundup. Got a good range of products this week, and at the end, there's something a little different included. Ooh mysterious...

First off is something I have only had in my possession for about 24 hours (by the time this goes up) and I am in love with it already. It's the Garnier Oil Beauty Oil-Infused Nourishing Scrub, yes I agree, it's a very weird thing to be in love with, what can I say, I'm a weird thing lover? Okay, that sounds weird. Sorry, moving on... You all know how much I love the lotion and the oil from Garnier so I got way too excited when I saw this little beauty (that can never sound not creepy). But this scrub is beautiful. It smells like the rest of the oil infused line and it is quite harsh, but at the same time it's nourishing and beautiful and it's the perfect amount of scrubby-ness. Yes, scrubby-ness.

I love self tanner! And I am still a massive, massive fan of the Express Self Tanner from St Tropez. I applied this once at the beginning of the week and once yesterday and I have been completely loving how it has made my skin look. I'm very pale even through summer and I wanted a bit of a change so I have been using this, and I just love it. I've done a post on face and body self tanners so go check those out if you haven't already, but this is by far my favourite self tanner and I'm obsessed. Autumn doesn't mean no tanning does it?

To keep my tan looking it's best, the Soap & Glory Righteous Body Butter has been my moisturiser of choice. I'm very lazy when it comes to moisturising but this stuff smells so incredible and keeps my skin so soft that I just can't help myself. Plus it's on my bedside table so I don't forget. The scent of the lingers for hours, I can still smell this during the day and it's just amazing.
As I'm writing this, I have used the Garnier Scrub, self tanned using the St Tropez Express Tanner and I've just slathered myself with the Body Butter. Yes I'm aware it's a Friday night and yes I am aware that I sound very sad. But I feel darn amazing. Plus I have Haribo, Minion style...

Rather than moving that big jar of coconut oil around my room and in the shower etc, (not that it's that much of an issue) I have scooped some out and put it in little tubs so I have one at my bedside table, another on my dressing table and various other places. So I've been loving using that for just about anything. Coconut oil is such an amazing beauty product and I don't know how I have never used this before. If you haven't tried it, just give it a go, it's amazing and so inexpensive.

Although I don't want to admit that autumn has arrived, the berry nail polishes and lip colours are already out. The Maxfactor 'Sparkling Berry' Gel Shine Lacquer Nail Polish is what I've been wearing on my nails all week and it's the perfect berry/dark red/burgundy kind of shade and I think it's amazing. They do have a more burgundy red tone in the Gel Shine Lacquer Line which is really nice too.
For lips, the Collection Deluxe Lipstick in Prohibition is probably going to be my most worn lip colour this autumn. I love the shade, the formula is nice and creamy, the pigmentation is fantastic and it's so inexpensive. I want to wear more berry shades so there may be a few more purchased soon.

So I went shopping on Friday which is when I picked up the Garnier Scrub and I wanted to show you the other things I picked up and will probably be in next weeks faves.

I've been eye-ing up the new Maxfactor Foundation so thought I'd give it a go. I love the Superfacialist by Una Brennan range anyway and I'm all about the brightening and illuminating in the Autumn. Don't those nail polishes look amazing. They're the new (well I think they're new) Colour Carnival By Seventeen Nail Polishes. In the Boots store near me, the lady there said they were taking the place of the Sinful Colours Nail Polishes and were in the same stand so I don't know how long there been available for but there is so many stunning shades and I will definitely be going back and getting some more. Love them, and I'm sure you'll see them in a Monday Mani soon.

There were so many new launches and they all sounded amazing. There's Maybellines Go Extreme Leather Mascara (or something like that). Rimmel has bought out their Matte versions of the Apocalips Lip Lacquer and I swatches the darker berry one and it's stained my hand, I've scrubbed at it and it won't come off completely. May have to pick some of those up.
Bourjois have their new Chocolate Bronzing Powder and Highlighter, they also have some awesome new eyeshadow palettes which look really nice and when is watched them they seemed pretty decent eyeshadows. I just didn't get any because I've just got the Lorac Pro Palette (just incase you didn't know already) so don't really need any others. Barry M have their new autumn nail polishes, except there was one called Cocoa which is a chocolate brown shade, but I really didn't like it. It just doesn't look like a colour that should be on your nails. I dunno, maybe that's just me. The khaki green shade was quite nice and the light grey looked very wearable. There was also a mustard yellow one too which I can see looking nice on some people and maybe I'll try it but it's a bit of an odd shade to wear and pull off I think, but I'm up for a challenge.
I apologise if I'm a bit weird in this post (I know what you're going to say, I'm weird all the time, kind of true) I'm in a very good mood and apparently that comes off as sarcasm and stupid comments when I'm writing, so just ignore that.

Last thing to tell you is that from Monday, it's going to be autumn edit week here on it's a beauty thing. The schedule will stay pretty much the same so I will still post on my usual days, but they will be all autumn related, but there will be a bonus post on Tuesday for my September Favourites. There's some of my fave nail polishes for autumn, even a top 10 under £10 beauty essentials so make sure you're following my blog via email or via Bloglovin and I always post on my social media when I've uploaded a post so keep an eye out there too and I really hope you enjoy autumn week and have an awesome weekend/week.
