A Feature: Monday Mani #15 Autumn Edit

It's Autumn edit time, where we go through our autumn goodies and switch up our beauty routines ready for the cooler months.

Today is Monday Mani so of course I'm going to show you some of my favourite nail polishes for the cooler months. There's some from the drugstore and some more expensive brands, but these are all from last year, I haven't got any from the autumn collections for this year yet but I'm sure I will so I'm sure they'll appear in a Monday Mani some time soon.

It wouldn't be autumn without some beautiful navy and purple nails. And it wouldn't be a Monday mani without Barry M. The Barry M Nail Paint in Navy and Barry M Gelly Hi-Shine Nail Paint in Blackberry are such beautiful, deep colours that I love how these look on toes and fingers. Barry M Nail Paint in Cobalt Blue isn't so dark but it's a perfect shade for the transition into autumn.
There's also O.P.I. in Road House Blues which is a beautiful dark navy blue shade. Collection Hot Looks in Twilight is the perfect plum-y purple and so affordable. Leighton Denny in Graycious is the only one I have from this brand but it is such an amazing formula and this shade is really nice, even though it's just a standard dark grey.

Now it's onto the wine and berry shades. My recent purchase is the Maxfactor Gel Shine Lacquer in Sparkling Berry is going to be my most worn shade through autumn and winter I think. It's such a stunning colour and I love the formula and easy application of these polishes. O.P.I. in Malaga Wine was last autumn and winters most worn polish. This is the perfect deep red, burgundy wine shade and I just love it. Illamasqua in Vice is more of a pinky, berry shade which is why I love it for the transition from summer into autumn as it's not super bright but it's not really dark like the other shades.

Coming away from those dark shades are nude, taupe, beige kind of colours. Starting off with the Barry M Matte Nail Paint in Vanilla and O.P.I. in Taupe-Less Beach, these are pretty much identical shades, which is why I wanted to include them both so there's a high end option and a drugstore option. Both formulas are amazing. They're easy to apply and they look great on the nails. Barry M Nail Paint in Cappucino is slightly darker but has a nice taupe-y, brown tinge to it which is beautiful for the colder months.

What are your favourite nail polishes for autumn/winter??
