A Feature: The Repurchased: Skincare

I know when I like a product when I repurchase it, so I thought I would go through with you the skincare things I have repurchased and why I like them.

1. L'Oreal Skin Perfection Cleansing Oil x4
I love this stuff. Well I love all of these things, but I am on my fourth bottle of this, I just love it so much and have my best friend hooked on this too - I'm still trying to get my mum to try some of these things - but this is the best makeup remover I have found and it's not even a case that I want to try any others out, I'm stuck with this and I just love it. Although I only get it when it's on sale otherwise it's about £8 a bottle.

2. Garnier Micellar Water x2
I never really understood the point of a Micellar water, as I always though it was the same as normal water from the tap. But oh no, oh boy was I wrong, this stuff removes the bulk of my makeup (not all, which is why I use the cleansing oil) and leaves my skin feeling soft and smooth. It doesn't dry it out or sting or anything. I've tried the L'Oreal one and it wasn't great but this one is much better in my opinion.

3. Emma Hardie Moringa Cleansing Balm x3
Everyone and their mother has tried this (except mine, she just won't try it) and I am on my third pot of the stuff and I use it most nights. I've noticed when I don't use it for a few days, the texture of my skin isn't as soft and smooth and a few bumps appear, then once I've used this, it's smooth again. I got the Emma Hardie cloth this time which is a flannel on one side and muslin cloth and the other and I am really loving it right now. This is something I also purchase whilst on offer.

4. Oskia Renaissance Cleansing Gel x2
Something I didn't think I would repurchase because it's quite pricey, but I use this in the mornings and I noticed that my makeup wasn't going on as smooth anymore and I couldn't figure out why until I bought this again and now it's definitely on my repurchase list and I'm pretty sure it always will be. It's just a bit sucky that it's so expensive.

5. Origins High Potency Night-a-Mins Moisturiser x2
I haven't tried many Origins products apart from the Drink Up Overnight Mask and their GinZing Moisturiser, but this is the one product I have repurchased. This does some amazing things to my skin and when I bought this again and started using it, I knew instantly that this would be my night time moisturiser for a long time. Nothing I tried even came close to this. Something else that's on the higher price bracket but from my point of view, if I have to spend more on my skincare to have good skin, then I'm fine with that.

6. Estée Lauder Advanced Night Repair ll x2
This brought a tear to my eye when I finished the last drop in my first ever full size bottle and then again when I pressed buy now. This is the only serum I will use on my skin, as no others even came close. I know I am saying this a lot about these products but I just love them which is why I have repurchased them.

7. Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish x3
This was the first proper cleanser I purchased and I used it for months before I started trying out other things, I often go back to this when I'm not at home, when I have ran out of the other ones I use, or simply as a super quick and simple makeup remover and cleanser in one. It's a brilliant price and the muslin cloths that come with them are the ones I use everyday to remove my makeup. It's such good value for money when buying the starter kit and the pump makes it really easy and clean. Definitely recommend for any skincare newbies out there.

8. The Body Shop Vitamin E Facial Mist x3
My mum and I used to use this a lot when I was a teen as we just loved spraying it on our face and even on our legs or arms when it was really hot. Now I use it as a toner, a makeup refresher, a skin hydration booster, and for when I'm really hot or sweaty or just in need of a spritz. It has vitamin E so is super hydrating and doesn't dry the skin out at all.

9. Nuxe Rev de Miel Lip Balm x2
I actually just purchased this for the second time, I went through the first one quite quickly and it's taken me a while to get it again. You know when you stop using a product because you've ran out or trying something new or whatever, and then once you start using it again, you fall back in love with it all over again? I am constantly applying this because my lips have been super dry and cracked recently and I've been applying a Nivea lip balm like there's no tomorrow, but this stuff has cleared it up in a day and I cannot believe how effective and amazing this little pot is. Although it's quite steep for a lip balm, in my eyes, it's definitely worth it.

10. Simple Soothing Toner x3
Finally is a toner which is possibly the most simple (duh) and no fuss toner I've used. I like the Garnier soothing toner but cannot find it anywhere at the minute and I have been using this one which I had in my stash and I have liked using this a lot. I put it into a spray bottle and use it similarly to the The Body Shop one and I just like how refreshing and soothing it is on the skin. I love the Simple brand and think it's a good start out, affordable skincare line.

That's it for my repurchased skin care products. I may do another post like this with some other products in different categories too just to keep it interesting. Hope you liked it.
