A Beauty Chat: Bare & Bold #6 Fave Bare Skin Products

I thought for the weekend, I would show you some of my favourite bare and bold products. So today will be favourite bare face products/foundations, and tomorrow will be my favourite bold lip products. Check out my Instagram if you have missed any of the looks from this weeks Bare & Bold theme.

Garnier Miracle Skin Cream // Bare Minerals Original Foundation // NARS Sheer Glow Foundation // L'Oreal True Match // Rimmel Master Perfection // Yves Saint Laurent Youth Liberator //

So now that we have done the five looks this week, we've seen some super smokey sultry eyes, as well as some very classic looks, it's time to share with you some of my favourite bare skin type products, so the lightweight, natural, barely there kind of bases.

The Garnier Miracle Skin Cream is such an unusual product and although this has barely any coverage at all, for those good skin, no makeup days, this is perfect and just evens out the skin tone. But under the Bare Minerals Original Foundation I love the finish. This is the first and only mineral foundation I have used, and quite honestly, I just love this stuff. I included this one because it can give a light coverage just to even everything out, but it can also be built up to a fuller coverage without caking up. So this is great for travelling as you can get a custom coverage from it with just one product. That's a true space saver.
Next is the NARS Sheer Glow Foundation this is a fairly new addition to my makeup stash and I have been loving this. The coverage is again quite lightweight but it can give a really good coverage if built up, but still feeling light on the skin. I like to mix in the Rimmel Master Perfection some days as this is far too pink for my skin tone, but mixed with SG it's useable so I have been using this combo every now and again and they're pretty similar in blendability, coverage and texture etc so they're a match made in heaven.
Onto an oldie but a goodie, the trusted L'Oreal True Match. This stuff is thebomb.com. It's a brilliant lightweight, sheer but buildable, affordable foundation which comes in so many shades with different tone options this is the most amazing shade range available in the drugstore in my opinion, this isn't a matte finish foundation but it's also not a dewey foundation, it's right in the middle so I think it would be fine on oily skin and dry skin - however there is the True Match Lumi foundation but I haven't tried that.
Last but no means least is the Yves Saint Laurent Youth Liberator. This is a real luxury foundation and gives such a stunning glow it just looks amazing. It does have quite a sheer coverage but it is another formula that can be buit up without looking cakey or too much.

I hope you've liked this post and seeing some of my favourite bare skin face products. Be sure to check back tomorrow for my favourite bold lip products. There's quite a few so you lip product addicts won't want to miss it.
