A Beauty Chat: Bare & Bold #5 Pink Cheeks & Lips

Because these posts are mainly focused on the lips and eyes, I thought I would throw this one in here for bright pink lips and cheeks too. Go to my Instagram to see the look.

Benefit Porefessional // Simple Illuminating Cream // Laura Mercier Silk Creme Foundation // Maybelline Instant Age Rewind // Rimmel Master Perfection Concealer // Soap & Glory One Heck Of A Blot Translucent Powder // The Body Shop Highlighter // Soap & Glory Brow Archery // Maybelline Brow Drama // Black or Brown Eyeshadow // Maxfactor False Lash Effect Mascara //

It's a pretty simple look really. I start off with the Benefit Porefessional as always and then use the Simple Illuminating Cream to add a nice glow to the skin. Then I go in with the Laura Mercier Silk Creme Foundation which I don't use as often as I should at the minute but I love this as it's so easy to blend and less is more with the foundation. Concealer combo as always (don't need to say it again) and I then just set the concealer in place with the Soap & Glory Translucent Powder. Then with The Body Shop Highlighter I apply this to my cheekbones and also on the eyelid slightly, just to give it a nice sheen. Skipping bronzer for this look so now it's onto those brows. Again,it's the same as before but for anyone who hasn't read those, I start with the Soap & Glory Brow Archery and then go over that with the Maybelline Brow Drama to keep them in place.
For the simple eye makeup, I decided to do something similar to Mondays post and to just define the lashes, so either using a matte brown or black eyeshadow and an angled brush, just line the top lash line (as close to the lashes as possible) and this will just help define those lashes and make your lashes look really full. A few coats of Maxfactor False Lash Effect Mascara to finish it off and now it's the bold part.

Topshop Cream Blush in Afternoon Tea // L'Oreal L'Extraordinaire in Rose Symphony //

Pretty simple really, but it just use the Topshop Cream Blush and apply to the apples of my cheeks and blend up towards my hairline, making sure it's blended really well as it's such a bright colour, but use a light hand with this and build up if needed, always add more rather than go in with loads on your brush or finger, because you can't take the product away once it's on the cheeks, so just start light and build up as required. Finally, finish the lips with a nice pink shade which is in the same kind of colour family to the blush, so I went for this L'Oreal L'Extraordinaire in Rose Symphony which is really glossy and such a stunning shade.
