A Beauty Chat: Bare &Bold #7 Favourite Bold Lip

Yesterday it was bare skin, today it's bold lips. Check out my Instagram to see all the looks from this week and if you haven't already, click on the posts to see what products I used to get those looks.

Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain in Lovesick // Revlon Colourburst Matte Balm in Striking and Showy // L'Oreal L'Extraordinaire in Fuschia Drama, Ruby Opera and Rose Symphony // Bourjois Colourburst in Red Sunrise // Rimmel Colour Rush in The Redder The Better // Sleek Matte Me in Rioja Red // Rimmel Apocalips Lip Lacquer in Stellar // Maybelline ColourSensational Vivids in Wild Rose // Bourjois Shine Edition in 22 Famous Fuschia //

Now onto some of my favourite bright lip products. These were the products that made me do this bare and bold themed week.
Starting off with the ones featured in the posts this week. The Revlon Colourburst Matte Balms in Striking and Showy are two of the most stunning colours I have ever seen in a lip product form. Plus the fomula of these is the bees knees.
The others in this weeks posts are the L'Oreal L'Extraordinaire liquid lipsticks which, well, these are just amazing. The formula is oil based so it is super moisturising, has amazing pigmentation, and are available in some really pretty shades. I think I have most of the nude shades, but these bright ones just make me feel happy and brighten up my complexion.
Another Revlon balm stick thingy now, and the Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stains were something I was totally in love with. Especially the shade Lovesick. This is another bright pink and gets me so many compliments when I wear this, I love the wearability of these, the shade range isn't brilliant but they have some good shades in the collection.
Following with the lip crayon chubby stick type products is the Bourjois Colour Boost in Red Sunrise, I remember purchasing this product as I bought one for my friend at the same time, and I like the colour pigmentation of this as well as the shade as it's just such a pretty bright link/coral/red and it looks so beautiful on the lips. It has the right amount of pink and red in it so it's perfectly in the middle and could be used in any of the looks this week even the bold eye looks.
Last chubby stick product is the Rimmel Colour a Rush Balm in The Redder The Better. This thing has amazing lasting power. This will stick around even after you've eaten, drank and talked your head off. It's pretty gnarly stuff and is another collection that has some stunning shades in that are all slowly becoming part of my collection. Because I clearly don't have enough lip products.

Another matte lip product now and the Sleek Matte Me in Rioja Red was actually picked up by mistake and it wasn't till I got home that I realised it wasn't what I thought it was. But it is a really nice red and has a matte finish which as I've said is what I prefer when wearing a red lip. But this stuff is one that sticks around for a while but I do find this can be quite drying so I don't wear it for a long period of time like for a whole day or whatever. Just as a quick throw on product that will only be on and needed for a few hours.

Now the Rimmel Appocalips Lip Lacquers are some pretty darn impressive things. They are so easy to apply (but just watch those teeth) and have amazing pigmentation. Once you apply them and let them set, they're on for good. No need to touch up because they are always still there hours later. They bought some new shades out when they realised how fast these were flying off the shelves but I must say I'm not a huge fan of those new shades. I have four, a nude, red, coral and this one and that's all I really need (although I always try them on my hand when in boots).

On to the last two now and these are standard lipsticks in the sense that they're not lacquers or stains or anything. Now the Bourjois Shine Edition in 22 Famous Fuschia is a nice sheer bright pink lipstick which is very low maintenance and doesn't wear off in a strange way that you have to be constantly checking in the mirror. But the Maybelline ColourSensational Vivid Lipstick in Wild Rose is one of my favourite shades of pink ever. EVER. This is such a stunning shade and the formula is so creamy and long lasting that these are definitely worth the price tag, plus a lot more. The shades that Maybelline bring out are very versatile and the formulas themselves means they can be applied quite sheer-ly or applied very bold and bang in your face. But this is another one I get compliments whenever I wear it. I may do a makeup look using this lipstick or any others mentioned so please let me know if you would like to see that.

Okay so that's it for Bare & Bold week here on it's a beauty thing, I hope you have enjoyed it and liked the looks I have created. Please let me know your thoughs and any requests for future posts ore reviews etc. thanks for reading
