A Weekend Post: The Weekly Round Up #21

Say hello to the first weekly round up in May. I am excited and anxious about May as it's my birthday month which scares the crap out of me, but it can't be avoided, I would much prefer to stay 21 for the rest of my life as 21 sounds and is a good age to be, legal for many things and young enough to still feel young and not like you're getting old. Y'know what I mean? Okay well let's get into the products I have been loving this week.

1. Starting off with jewellery, this silver heart midi ring has been on my finger every day this week. I just love it. It's dainty enough that it makes my hands look delicate yet it's pretty sturdy even though it looks like it will break with a single squish. I have many midi rings but this is by far my favourite. I just hope it doesn't break or gets lost.

2. A top that I purchased from New Look last weekend has been my favourite to wear when I'm not in work clothes. It's a simple grey tee with a look I just cannot describe. But I love this with black skinnies and my locket I got for my 21st and the cross necklace that was in my April favourites. I like the layered look with necklaces and this tee is just the right amount of casual and paired with a hoody it's perfect for a casual day or with a jacket it is also suitable.

3. I have been loving a particular mascara from a brand that in America is known as Covergirl, the Maxfactor False Lash Effect Mascara has a similar brush to the Maybelline The Rocket Mascara and it just separates my lashes and adds volume and a little bit of length. The way it makes my lashes look is possibly better than The Rocket but that's not my final verdict just yet.

4. In my latest discoveries post you would have seen me talk about the Rimmel Match Perfection Concealer and I have been really impressed with this product. It's very light in colour so it's brilliant for highlighting under the eyes and it really helps brighten the area too. It's also very light in consistency so it doesn't crease or cake up under the eyes either so I have been really enjoying using this and I'm pretty sure this is going to be an everyday staple for a very long time.

5. Up next is The Body Shop Honey Bronzer, I have been using this for a while and have loved it, but this week I have really enjoyed applying this and how it looks on my skin, I have a new foundation (which will probably be in next weeks round up) which is my exact shade which is very pale, so this bronzer has been doing a really good job at warming my complexion up without being too harsh, orange-y or muddy.

6. Last thing of the month is a hair product and the Bumble & Bumble Creme Contour has been used quite a lot this week. It's been pushed to the side to make way for some other texturising products but this has been bought back and I have rekindled my love for it. What I like about this is that it's not heavy or greasy and it doesn't give the look that I have a load of product in my hair which I can't stand.

That's it for this weeks favourites. As from Monday, here on it's a beauty thing, it's going to be drugstore mad. I have lots of posts that I want to get out for you so please remember to check back and don't forget to follow by email so you don't miss a post.
