A Feature: May's Glossybox

Glossybox have teamed up with Superdrug for they're 50 years of thing and this months box has some exciting things in.

First off, of you don't know what Glossybox is, it's a subscription service and you pay £10.00 + £2.99 P&P a month and they send you some items with deluxe sample sizes or some full sizes and it's normally every other month the box is based on a certain theme and it's actually exciting to see what you will get. Honestly, sometimes the box is pretty pants but it always exceeds how much you have paid for it and it brings lots of new and not well known brands to you as well as some favourites.

First off, the whole visual aspect of this months Glossybox is really eye catching and I love the bright pink and yellow for the summer and with this heat wave we're having here in the UK it certainly feels like summer.

Onto the products in the box, there's:

1. B. Quick One Coat Professional Finish Nail Polish which is a really nice colour for the coming months. The B. Line was released early this year or maybe even last year and although I haven't tried any of the makeup, the nail polishes are really nice and for £4.99 that's half of the boxes value already.

2. I Love Cosmetics Strawberries & Milkshake Shimmer & Shine not going to lie, wasn't excited about this but will give it a go and it's only £1.29 so if I do decide I like it I can pick some others up.

3. Scholl Velvet Smooth Overnight Mask, I saw the words overnight mask and thought it was for the face but Scholl is not a face skin care brand and would possibly be terrible for the face but everyone gets dry feet especially heels and with summer and sandals and flip flops coming back, it's important so I am looking forward to trying this. This makes it past the cost or the box already at £7.99.

4. Simple Kind To Skin + Illuminating Radiance Cream is what I was most excited about when I opened the box. I have wanted to try this since it came out but never picked it up for some reason but I am looking forward to trying this. I tried this on my hand and it gave a really nice glow, it does have shimmer in but it would be perfect under makeup or on a no makeup day. This is £8.99 so we're at over double the price of the box and there's still 3 things to go.

5. Blowpro Blow Up Daily Volumizing Conditioner, I'm not keen on them given a conditioner without the shampoo and vice versa but I'll give this a go. I've been loving some texture and volume in my hair so see how this goes. This is £9.99 for the full size 235ml.

Onto the Bonus items now:

6. Garnier Oil Beauty Lotion, I love the beauty oil so I hope this is as good if not better. The Garnier body range always makes my skin look nice and feel soft and smooth and I've seen this around, this is a little sachet which normally I wouldn't be keen on but as it's an extra it's okay, but this for the full size 250ml it's £4.99 which I believe is around the same for the oil, of maybe the oil is a little bit more, I'm not sure.

7. Ghost Fragrances Eclipse, I have so many fragrance testers but I have had Ghost perfumes before and this smells nice but I may get it for the bottle alone. This is £33 for 50ml.

8. Green & Blacks Milk Chocolate, I have never tried this brand of chocolate as I always seem to get the dark chocolate which I hate but this is the milk chocolate and I think I will like this. This was a bonus item because I have had my subscription for a year.

I'm really looking forward to trying all of these out and I will keep you posted. Thanks for reading.
