A Weekend Post: The Weekly Round Up #17

This weekend my parents and I are having a little weekend break away so I'm not sure when I'll be able to get this up, but didn't want to miss out on a week and I have been loving quite a few products.

Starting off with hair, I posted a hair haul this week and I have been trying out the products and have been super impressed with them all but I've been especially loving the Toni & Guy Wave Memoriser and the Toni & Guy Rough Texturising Spray. The wave memoriser was intriguing to me when I first saw it, but I have actually been looking for something like this for a while now. It is quite sticky and I find you don't need a huge amount, but I've really liked using it. As for the rough texturising spray, this is like a dry shampoo type product, but it gives more volume and texture than a regular dry shampoo. But I love it, and both of these smell amazing. I do really like the Sea Salt Spray too.

Next is makeup products and starting with the Bare Minerals Original Foundation in Fair, I bought this on my travels with me as a last minute throw in the bag as we're going out the door, and I have been pairing it with the Laura Mercier Silk Creme Foundation as I use that for when I need extra coverage almost like a concealer and the Bare Minerals on the other areas and it has been working really well. I do however like it on it's own just as a light coverage. Plus it's super good for your skin as it only has 5 ingredients and doesn't clog your pores like lots of liquid or cream foundations do. A review of this is going to be posted soon (if not already).

Next I'm going to go with the blusher I have been loving this week, it's M.A.C. Well Dressed Blusher which is a really nice, pale pink and goes with any makeup look and I just love this on the apples of my cheeks and blended up towards my hair line and I just use an angled brush to apply it. I've had it in my collection for a while and I keep pulling it out and using it for a while then try something else but I always go back to it.

Next for makeup is two eye favourites. The first being the Rimmel Scandaleyes Purple Eyeliner which I have been experimenting with as I don't wear anything other than black or brown. But I have been running this along my lower lash line just for some colour and it really compliments my hazel eyes.

This one isn't a particular product but a look I have been doing this week. Either using a matte black eyeshadow and angled brush as shown above, or a kohl eyeliner like the Avon Super Shock or the Rimmel Scandaleyes Kohl Eyeliner in Black, I simply apply a thin line right along my upper lash line just to deepen up the lashes, and then smudging it out slightly so it's not too harsh. I have just been loving this look and although I have been testing out some liquid eyeliners and getting back into winged eyeliner, this look has been something I have done more and I just prefer it for everyday wear, where I don't have to look super made up or can't be bothered to do the winged liner.

Next is a skincare favourite, and this week I finally managed to get my hands on a new tub of the Origins Night-A-Mins Moisturiser, this is by far my favourite night time moisturiser and I have noticed a huge difference with the condition of my skin already, it feels so soft and smooth and looks much more plump, and I have missed using this as I ran out and wasn't able to get another one until Monday, but it has definitely proved to me that my skin loves this stuff and I will never let my skin go without it ever again. FYI skincare routine will be up this week. - not shown in photo above as I don't have the tub here with me, it's at home. Sorry.

Finally is fashion and I have been loving this Pink New Look Jumper with Crochet Back Detail and I like to pair it with this Pink & Gold Necklace. I have just loved wearing this and if you know me well, pink isn't something that I wear (I think I have a bright pink cardigan but people say it's more red so I don't class it as pink) but I just love this top, it's thin enough that it's perfect for spring yet still covers arms if it's slightly chilly, and with this necklace, I totally love how it looks, but I cannot remember where I got the necklace from as it was ages ago, but I think it may have been Dorothy Perkins but I'm not 100% sure.

I hope you enjoyed my weekly round up this week, and I apologise if this goes up slightly later than normal.
