A Feature: April's Glossybox

A beautiful box arrived on my doorstep on Monday and so I knew it was time for a Glossybox post. If you don't know what Glossy box is, it's a beauty subscription box where you pay just £12.99 (including P&P) every month and they send you a box with 5 beauty products in.mdeluxe size samples, full size products are included. So here's what is in it this month.

Emite Makeup Lip Brush L312 £17

When I saw a makeup brush in this months Glossybox I got pretty excited, until I saw it was a lip brush, as that's not something I use but there are other uses I'm sure I will be able to find. The fact it's £17 is already way above what the monthly subscription costs.

Monu Spa Warming Ginger Massage & Body Oil £25 for 100ml

I don't particularly like the smell but I'll give it a try or my Mum may be getting it but I love a good body oil and this one has some good ingredients in which do wonders for the skin.

MeMeMe Cosmetics Beat The Blues Pearl Pink £5.50

I remember seeing this on a blog or YouTube video I watched this weekend but I can't for the life of me remember which one it was. But this is supposed to be a high street alternative to Benefits High Beam and I love highlighters so I am really pleased I got this in my box this month.

Tresemme Instant Refresh Cleansing Dry Shampoo £4.99 for 200ml

I have tried this before and I do really like it so I'm glad I have this in here too as I've ran out. This is an amazing sry shampoo which smells good and gets rid of oiliness and greasiness so quickly whilst adding some extra omfph to the roots. I may purchase the full size again.

Unica Cosmetics Radiance Plus £12.95 for 50ml

I've left this till last as this is something I am quite disappointed with, only because, when you sign up to Glossybox, you fill in a "survey" which basically is where you tell them what you would prefer to receive in your box and other details like what hair colour you have, skin type, etc. so the fact an anti-aging face cream was sent to a 21 year old didn't exactly get me excited. However it is supposed to be an organic, 100% natural ingredients radiance! fine line smoothing cream so I may give it a go and see what it's like.

Some things have made this box a little less disappointing, and I find Glossybox tends to have a few months of amazing boxes and then a few months of not so great boxes but the value of this ken is way over the £10 subscription cost.

Have you tried any of these?
