A Beauty Chat: Lily Collins Inspired - What's on my face #7

I have been meaning to do this post for a while now but I was never happy about how I had written it and set it out, so I'm giving it another try now.

Radiant Skin:

In all of Lily's looks, her skin is completely flawless with a fresh and radiant glow. So to try and get her amazing skin, I started with the L'Oreal Lumi Magique Base and then go in with Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk Foundation, these two products together, just work, and I love the combo. To brighten under my eyes, I use the YSL Touché Éclat and the L'Oreal Lumi Magique Highlighting Pen which adds a little extra coverage and blends everything out nicely. Then with M.A.C. Studio Finish Concealer I cover any stubborn redness or blemishes. With the Seventeen Skin WOW I just use this as a normal highlighter as it's not too shimmery or glittery and gives a very natural glow to the cheeks. This can be added before applying foundation if preferred.

Bold Brows:

One of the main things LC is known for is her brows. Now, I can't pull off a bold brow like Lily can, but I do want to fill them in a little, so I start with a matte brown eyeshadow to fill in any sparse areas and to sculpt the brows a bit more. I then use the Maybelline Brow Drama in Medium Brown which tints the hairs and sets them in place for the rest of the day.

Winged Liner & Fluttery Lashes:
Whilst looking for some makeup looks for Lily, there were lots of her with winged liner and some beautiful fluttery lashes. So for the liner, first I use the Maybelline Master Precise Liquid Eyeliner to trace the line and get a precise and straight wing as I have a lot more control with this one, but it's not black enough so I then go over that with the Collection Liquid Eyeliner and because they're both marker pen liners, I find them a lot easier to control and I have just been loving this duo recently. Now for the fluttery lashes... I start my curling them, and then using the Maxfactor Excess Volume Mascara to build up the volume and length, and then once that's dry, I go over it with the Maybelline The Rocket Waterproof Mascara which separates the lashes and holds the curl a lot longer than just the Maxfactor mascara as that's not waterproof. I also like to use a black waterproof liner to line my upper waterline to add some more thickness to the lashes.

Bold Red Lip:

Nothing is classier than winged liner and a bold and beautiful red lip, and Lily just rocks it. So using the Rimmel Exaggerate Lip Liner in Diva Red to outline the lips and then with Revlon Colourburst Matte Balm in ?? this gives a stunning red lip which lasts for ages.

There we go. This is a Lily Collins inspired look - I don't look like her in the slightest, I'm aware of that - I just thought I would take her best features and incorporate them into my makeup look. Hope you like this kind of post, if so, let me know.
