A Weekend Post: The Weekly Round Up #15

The time has come for another weekly round up. Next week will be monthly favourites too so make sure to check back for that. But today I'm going to mention just a few products I have been loving. There's not as many as usual so let's keep it quick.

First up is the Oskia Renaissance Cleansing Gel, I have really been enjoying using this recently as it just makes my skin feel so soft and nourished but refreshing as well. I have mentioned this numerous times, yet this just seems to surprise me every now and again and I look forward to using it in the morning. It says it's a gel cleanser but it's actually more of a balm, and I like to get a pump of this on my fingertips and then wet my other fingers and rub them together and massage it into my skin, I feel this really cleans and smooths my skin and doesn't leave it feeling tight or uncomfortable which is always a bonus.

The main makeup product that has stuck out for me this week is the Bare Minerals Original Foundation ... Ooh a foundation, what a surprise ... But this one came in the mail this week and has been really nice just to give a bit extra coverage over my foundation, or just to use on it's own to even out my skin and make me look a tad more presentable. I don't normally go for mineral foundations - In fact I don't have any others - but I have had some smaller sample pots given to me by my lovely friend Danielle and they were really nice but the colours were a tad too dark, so I picked up Fair the lightest shade (of course) and it matches my skin perfectly and gives me a nice luminous finish too without looking powdery or cakey *cheers* Yay!

At number 3 of my weekly round up is The Body Shop Vitamin E Face Mist which is just an amazingly refreshing and light spritz, perfect for a mid day freshen up, or even after makeup to set it and make sure you don't look too powdery or dry (not the case after the Bare Minerals foundation), so this just really helps to soothe your skin, add a little radiance boost back into your skin and is perfect for those hot moments. You can also use it as a toner after you cleanse as it has moisturising and soothing properties it really helps your skin, and spot doesn't have to be sprayed directly onto your skin if you don't like that, you can spray it on to a cotton pad and then apply to your face it just doesn't refresh your face as much as if you were to spray it.

Finally is this John Freida Frizz Ease Extra Strength 6 Effects Serum, which I apply on to wet hair and, as the name says, does 6 things to your hair... 1. Eliminates Frizz 2. Protects from Humidity 3. Protects from Heat 4. Smoothes 5. Hydrates 6. Tames. ...and it really does do all those things. It's lightweight so doesn't weigh my hair down at all, it smoothes and makes my hair so soft. I haven't tried it in dry hair as it only says wet hair but I don't need to use it between washes, and I use my L'Oreal Mythic Oil to soften my hair if it's needed.

Surprisingly that's it for my weekly round up this week. Although I have used lots of products this week still, these are the only ones that have really stood out so didn't want to add things in just for the sake of it. Although there is still 4 so better than nothing. Hope you enjoy the rest of your weekend and let me know what your favourite products are this week?
