A Weekend Post: The Weekly Round Up #13

11:57

Day 2 of my 4 day long weekend, and I'm so chilled and stress free. I'm looking forward to my best friends birthday meal tonight (What's on my face up tomorrow) so thought today I would give you my favourite things from the week.

1. Starting with a nail polish. I have had this on all week and it's the O.P.I. Taupe-Less Beach, it's the most beautiful colour ever and it's part of there Spring/Summer 2014 Brazil collection. I forgot how much I loved O.P.I. nail polishes and I have put in a sneaky order for another 1 which will make an appreance on it's a beauty thing next week as there will be a post dedicated to these two nail colours.

2. Onto skincare now and I have been using this all week to remove my makeup and I have actually been loving it - I'm sorry L'Oreal cleansing oil, I still love you too. The Garnier Micellar Water appeals to my lazy and convenient side. I didn't think I would be overly impressed as I have triad Micellar waters before they just never made a massive impression to the point where it was a permanent thing in my routine but this has been really handy and doesn't sting my eyes at all. I just apply to cotton pads and hold over my eye, gently wiping at my lashes to remove the mascara - which it doesn't remove 100% which is why I still use my L'Oreal Skin Perfection Cleansing Oil - but I am really enjoying using this.

3. Next is the Estée Lauder Advanced Night Repair II which I have really got back into using again this week. I stripped my skincare routine down as much as possible and this has been the only serum I have used in the evening and my skin has cleared up now so fingers crossed it stays that way. But I love this for all the reasons I said before and then some.

4. Onto makeup now and the Revlon Colorstay Normal/Dry has been my go to foundation this week. I use this formula in the winter and then the oil/combination in the summer. I have used this mainly to cover up redness and breakouts as I have been finding that the other foundations aren't cutting it at the minute. But my skin has improved so much now and there's still some scars that need to be covered.

5. This next product is something I picked up last week and I didn't have particularly high hopes for this but wanted to try it as someone had recommended it, but I have actually ended up using it every day. It's the L'Oreal Lumi Magique Concealer Pen, which is the perfect shade to brighten my eye area and highlight my cheeks, forehead etc. It is a lovely formula and texture, so easy to blend and it's easily accessible. Definitely recommend this.

6. The Topshop Cream Blush in Afternoon Tea and Glow in Polished are my first Topshop makeup products and I am totally obsessed. Also what I have worn all week, the blush is such an amazing texture and the colour is just stunning, and the highlighter is the perfect shade for my skin tone and is a more, definitely there kind of highlighter.

7. Another L'Oreal product now, the L'Extraordinaire Liquid Lipstick in Rose Melody is what has completed my look this week. Such a beautiful colour, the formula is great and non sticky, and they are just so easy to apply. I just love these.

What have you been loving this week?
